The name Pure Vanilla doesn't fit this fragrance. This isn't a vanilla extract dessert-type scent at all. It is a warm vanilla/tonka bean perfume that also has slight tobacco, slight woody notes on my skin. I love it! It has the vanilla sexiness of Shalimar-type fragrances, but it doesn't have heavy undertones or any muskiness. This is an evening scent for me. I find it to be quite strong; much stronger than most of my other fragrances, and the richness of the vanilla is too heavy for basic daywear. This reminds me of La Maison de la Vanille Noire du Mexique, but it's not powdery, and it has fabulous lasting power. If you like deep, not sugary vanillas, you'll probably enjoy Pure Vanilla.

This fragrance is heavenly! Every time I wear it, I get compliments. My husband loves it, too. The scent is vanilla with a soft musk and a very light floral. I love that it's all natural with no synthetic chemicals and is actually good for your skin.

I am not typically a sweet-fragrance lover but I fell in love with this fragrance as soon as it touched my skin. The initial spray is very sweet but the eventual fragrance that lingers is extremely sensual. The interaction with my skin left it with amazing earthy effect. I only had to spray one on my pulse point and dab it on my neck. And that is enough. I love the feeling after the spritz. It makes me happy. And I love the fact that it has other benefits as well. I also bought the roller ball so I can use it before the gym.
