The name Pure Vanilla doesn't fit this fragrance. This isn't a vanilla extract dessert-type scent at all. It is a warm vanilla/tonka bean perfume that also has slight tobacco, slight woody notes on my skin. I love it! It has the vanilla sexiness of Shalimar-type fragrances, but it doesn't have heavy undertones or any muskiness. This is an evening scent for me. I find it to be quite strong; much stronger than most of my other fragrances, and the richness of the vanilla is too heavy for basic daywear. This reminds me of La Maison de la Vanille Noire du Mexique, but it's not powdery, and it has fabulous lasting power. If you like deep, not sugary vanillas, you'll probably enjoy Pure Vanilla.

By far the best Vanilla scent I've ever had. And I love the fact that it's preservative free and packed with healthy antioxidants. Amazing vanilla scent!! I just wish I could find the rollerball bottle in Vanilla more easily, very hard to find that one.

I don't care for this frag on me and neither does my husband. It's not sophisticated or complex, comes off way too sweet and is not "the thing" for a true fragrance addict. But, I discovered it makes a good room deodorizer and because it's natural, I spritz a bit on our dogs between groomings when they start to smell "doggish" and it freshens them right up. And, due to the botanicals, it gives their coats a nice shine, too.

This is a true vanilla scent. I am not into floral scents and this is the opposite. If you like vanilla, you'll love it! Also got the Vanilla Grapefruit rollerball, which has just a hint of citrus and is very nice -- a little more summery.
