The mineral foundation I'd used for years was starting to look different on my skin. It was accentuating the tiny lines around my eyes, making them looker deeper, and it was building up on the pores on my cheeks, making them very noticeable. I know skin changes as we get older, but I was really frustrated. Powder foundations work best for me, and I was afraid I'd have to stop wearing foundation. Then I found Balance & Brighten, and I wish I'd found it years ago! What a beautiful product! It covers my skin like velvet, evening out the color and making it look flawless, but naturally healthy. Somehow it does not settle around my eyes, and instead of magnifying my pores, it covers them. The instructions with the foundation explain that it is a baked cream, and I can really see this, because it's so easy to blend, and there's no cakey dryness at all. Instead of cream-to-powder, this is a powder-to-cream, that sets quickly and looks like skin. I don't even need finishing powder over this, and it wears beautifully over sunscreen, moisturizer and/or primer. No more messy mineral foundation scattering dust all over the place! I apply this with a brush, but a flocking sponge works well if I use the foundation wet for full coverage. This is one of the top 5 finest makeup products I've ever used, and it's now a definite everyday staple.

I really like the concept of this makeup, and it goes on well. Unfortunately, it is only available in "Fair" and "Regular" shades. The reviews I read had great things to say about the "Regular", so I ordered it. It made me look like I'd been in bed with the flu for 3 days! Don't order this unless you are exctremely pale and have no natural rosiness in your complexion. It is very yello.

Comments about Laura Geller Beauty Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation, Regular/Medium, .32 oz:

I'm new to LG products but am already a fan. I used this foundation over LG The Real Deal Concealer and my face looked great. This stuff makes you look luminous but not overdone (I like a natural look); best of all, it really doesn't settle in fine lines! The only issue might be in choosing a color. I consider myself as having a "light" (not fair) complexion, but I purchased the regular/medium and it was almost too light (I do have a bit of a summer tan still, which might account for that). For the lightweight, smooth coverage, I'll glady take this foundation and just add bronzer.

Advertised as a substitute, or replacement for foundation. However, if you have spots you want to cover, that may not be feasible. I have spots I wish to conceal, and I find this works great on top of my normal products. One day I was in a rush, and I only used this. The coverage was amazing, although I like it more as the last thing I put on.

This product is used after my Dermablend or HD setting powder. I use either Chanel, MUF HD and Dior foundation first; next setting powder; then, LG Brightening powder. Great product that produces a light luminescence, does not settle into pores or lines and the finish is naturally pretty. Will purchase this product again. It's so much easier to use a brightening powder product that is light and not tacky and non-drying.

Love the coverage of this product. It lasts a long time and does not settle into pores or "laugh lines" around the mouth. It doesn't make my face break out like some other foundations I've used. I would have given it 5 stars. However, the shade of the foundation I just received was a bit lighter than the LG Regular/Medium foundations I have ordered previously. It was closer to the Fair shade than Medium. I will still order the product again.

Comments about Laura Geller Beauty Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation, Regular/Medium, .32 oz:

This is the first product I have tried from Laura Geller Beauty and it sure won't be my last! I was looking for a new face powder and usually purchase Mac compacts but wanted to try something new. I never heard of Laura Geller previous to this purchase but I do love baked products, so after reading reviews and watching some YouTube videos I thought why not. I'm so glad I did! I have been using bare minerals as my mineral foundation powder for probably 3-4 years now and love how easy it goes on without feeling heavy and greasy and this product is just as good if not better! I have sensitive skin and eczema so I really want a product that is as natural as possible and won't irritate my skin. I love how flawless my face looks with this product and its lightweight and lasts all day. I'm usually a medium beige in bare minerals and NC 25-30 in Mac and got the medium regular shade and it seems to be a good match. I do like to be more tanned so I put bronzer on top of this for a subtle glow. I'm not sure how dark the tan is but I am willing to try it out in the summer months as I get darker. I wish this product came with a powder poof though so I don't have to bring my kabuki with me. All in all, a great product and well worth the money since it will last a very long time.

I've tried almost every powder/mineral powder out there and couldn't never seem to find the right color match...either too light, too dark or wrong tone. I'm guessing the blended colors are what works for me so I'd recommend it to someone who might be having the same problem. I have oily skin, so I use this as my "foundation," and it lasts through most of the day. My complexion is also ruddy, so it does take a fair amount to get good coverage.

This is much darker than expected and does not self-adjust the color as advertised. I can see a clear line of demarcation from my face to my neck where the color changes. I use Medium Beige in Bare Minerals but this is much darker, more like a Medium Tan so would work well on darker olive toned skin. It does go on easily but if you need full coverage, this may not work completely for you.

...love love love. Seriously, I love it! I bought this because I'd seen a few reviews on YouTube. I was skeptical because I don't usually do well with "powder" foundations. I have normal to semi-dry sky, so the dry patches show even more if I use really matte products. People were saying it does well on all skin types so I decided to take a gamble. I AM SO GLAD I DID! This stuff is NOTHING like other powder foundation. And honestly, it doesn't claim to be a powder, but a baked product. It is a baked cream and it goes on like a powder but sets like a cream, if that makes sense. If you have an oily skin they you will probably need to set with a powder. If you have normal to dry and like a dewy finish then just leave it as is.

It really makes your skin glow. I wore it for at least 9 hours, at a job that requires a bit of manual labor and at the end of the day it hadn't smear or blotched up. It was so nice. Maybe ever so slightly dewy, but I like that look on my skin. It gives a light to medium coverage that you can build on. I have a light skin tone with pink undertones and I got it in medium/regular and it works really well. So I am definitely glad I didn't get the fair, it would probably make me look like a ghost.

Really can't speak highly of this. I can't imagine how long this will take me to use up but I feel like I will definitely get my monies worth! I will repurchase for SURE. I don't think I can go back to regular foundations again.
