The shadow can be used by swiping a brush all over the Marble Shadow and stroking over the entire eyelid.  Or, you can identify different shades and tones within the compact and apply them individually...use darker tones in the crease and at outer corners, brighter ones to highlight.  You may also use the deepest tones as eyeliner, wet/dry.

However you choose, the look will be stunning.

Comments about Laura Geller Beauty Baked Marble Eyeshadow, Pink Icing, .06 oz:

I have finally used up the first container of this excellent shadow that evens out skin tone. I use it as a base shadow to even out the color of my lids after I apply primer. It can thus be worn alone. I think using this as the first shadow over the primer, with a light hand of course, helps set everything you put on top of it. I am fair skinned with freckles, hazel eyes and dark hair. Please recall that green evens out red on one's skin, and the light green in this shadow does that while applying a hint of natural grace to your lid. I think if you are not someone who likes to use a highlighter under your brow one, this is a better option than leaving it bare (even if you used primer) after you've applied color from lash line to crease. I use a highlighter, but Pink Icing gives me a nice neutral canvas to work upon that evens out the color of my lids, making them look healthier in a natural way. I really don't think this color was intended to be the premier color on the lid and go on strong as LG has other colors for that. As a result of my long-term use of Pink Icing, I'm ordering Forest Mist as I think it will serve the same purpose. I wear moss/khaki green eyeshadow often so Forest Mist might be a nice alternative to Pink Icing in those instances. I hope they never discontinue this color as it's a winner. I've read rave reviews of Starburst being a similarly great "everyday" color, but as lovely as it looks, I think it has too much brown in it for me to use as I use Pink Icing, and I have enough strong browns I can wear otherwise.

Ordered this in pink icing, which looked very pretty in the online images. The actual product is colorless - when applied it has no appearance at all. Overpriced, returned.
