What You'll Need For This Makeup Class:

Balance-N-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation - Topnotch, skin-perfecting foundation and is one of the superstars of my Baked Collection. Its superior texture and silky formula combines the blendability of a liquid and silky feel of a powder.

Bronze-N-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Bronzer -To score a quick, sun-tanned effect, reach for Bronze-n-Brighten - its unique and revolutionary formula of bronzer with color-corrective pigments. Enjoy its smooth, dewy finish and stay-put color that won’t transfer onto clothes (I also made sure to leave out any traces of orange!).

Blush-N-Brighten Baked Cheek Color in Pink Buttercream - Here’s a tote-able version of my Blush-n-Brighten in Pink Buttercream - the perfect petal hue swirled with copper and gold flecks. It’s a shade that works for everyone and leaves cheeks rosy and glowing.

Baked Marble Eyeshadow Duo in Pink Icing/Devil’s Food - This split-pan features two flattering shades of Baked Marble Eyeshadows: Pink Icing is a glistening pink, while Devil’s Food is a shimmery golden brown. Both work well together to create bright-looking lids and perk up even the most tired of peepers!

A Fresh Face Everyday

Step 1 Using the enclosed Powder Brush, apply Balance-n-Brighten all over your face, sweeping over blemishes and uneven spots.

Step 2 Layer on Bronze-n-Brighten for a sun-kissed look.

Step 3 Apply Blush-n-Brighten on the apples of your cheeks, blending up towards the hairline.

Step 4 With the eyeshadow end of the custom-designed Double-Ended Shadow & Liner Brush, apply Pink Icing from the lashlines up to the crease, dabbing a little extra on browbones for subtle highlighting.

Step 5 With the angled liner end of the brush, apply Devil's Food along top and bottom lashlines.

Dial-up the Drama

Step 1 Do steps 1 to 3 of A Fresh Face Everyday. Layer on Balance-n-Brighten for heavier evening coverage. To sculpt and contour features, apply a little extra Bronze-n-Brighten under the cheekbones.

Step 2 Apply Pink Icing all over eyelids, from lashlines to the browbones.

Step 3 With the eyeshadow brush, use light, tapping motions to layer on Devil's Food from base to crease. Apply a little more along crease for added definition. Blend edges to create a smoky effect. Both eyeshadows can be used wet for richer payoff.

Step 4 Dampen the liner brush and use Devil's Food to line top and bottom lashes.

Step 5 Finish with an extra dab of Pink Icing under the brow arch and inner corners of the eyes.

Comments about Laura Geller Beauty Baked 101 ($131 Value!), Medium, 1 ea:

Some of the products in this set are great! The blush, bronzer, and eyeshadow have great pigmentation and do contain shimmer (not glitter). The foundation helps with redness but is not pigmented enough to use alone. A lot of people end up having to put so many layers on to cover their imperfections. The powder brush is terrible. It is so scratchy that I will never use it for anything. The eyeshadow brush is soft and is a good brush so I don't know what happened there. If you want to try some LG products, I would recommend the macaroon set. I was very happy with the entire set unlike this one.

Doesn't live up to the hype

Comments about Laura Geller Beauty Baked 101 ($131 Value!), Medium, 1 ea:

I never tried LG products before and was intrigued. Wondered if I'd like it better than Bare Minerals foundation that I've used for years. First, I'm fair with blue eyes and dark hair.

Foundation - I don't really need much in the way of foundation and use it mostly to brighten a little darkness and hide some tiny veins and imperfections around my nose and chin. I've always loved Bare Minerals for this. The foundation was fine in Medium for my skin - I was worried it would be too dark. For my purposes, I felt like I had to use a lot of foundation. It was just OK and I learned I prefer Bare Minerals.

Bronzer - Way to dark for me. Looked more brown and had an unnatural look on my skin.

Blush - It really accentuated my pores and normally my pores aren't noticeable at all! I often get compliments on my complexion, so this was not a good match for me.

Eye shadow - LOVED it! The only winner in the bunch. A little goes a long way, too. A great flattering shade probably for just about anyone. Could easily apply heavier for darker skin tones.

Brushes - The eye shadow brush was actually pretty good. The blush brush was a step above junk and could work in a travel bag in a pinch if you don't have anything else better.

Despite my love of the eye shadow, I wish I'd been on the ball and returned it in the 30 day window. The package is too expensive when the only winner is the eye shadow.
