I have very kinky curly hair, like the product is targeted to. When doing your hair it's best to put on soaking wet hair and make sure you have lots of slip. Let it slip for a few minutes like 3-5. (you can wash your body etc) then take a wide tooth comb and start from the bottom to the top combing out your hair. It really does help detangling and loose the cuticles, you just have to let it sit. My only complaint is the price and how much you get in the bottle!

Kinky Curly Knot Today is an expensive detangler that's supposed to be all natural. There are much better products for detangling that are more affordable. In the beginning, I used this product to detangle my hair all the time since I did not have to use much, but since my hair is growing out more it requires the use of too much more of this product, which is already greasy feeling, and has a horrible scent that lingers.

This is an extremely effective moisturizer for after wash/condition. It is light but very effective. For my kinky hair, I use this as a base and then go to my styler.

I mix it with water in a spray bottle for touch ups and use is straight from the bottle after washing my hair. Works great and smells great. Use it on my kinky curly hair as well as my bi-racial grand daughter's hair. Detangles it quickly and does not cause and oily mess.

I found out I liked this product more as a leave-in conditioner rather than a rinse-out. It definitely works better when you use the custard after (I throw in a little shine serum at the end and I'm good to go).

My 3 year old grand daughter has 4a hair. I wanted a natural product that would condition her hair and also make it easy to comb. This product does wonders. Her curls are more defined and shaped and her hair is softer. I'm really glad I found an affordable product that produces excellent results.

This conditioner is wonderful as a rinse-out or leave-in product. It makes my hair completely detangled and full of body. The smell is soft and fresh and very pleasant. My only problem with this product is that a 12 oz. bottle doesn't last long. I would buy this by the gallon, in a heartbeat.
