I love this product. It's not the easiest product for me -definitely not wash&go- but the end results are so amazing, I won't be without it. After some trial and error, I found I need to have Kinky-Curly Knot Today in my hair prior to raking this into soaking wet hair. I rake, then scrunch a bit, and I need to use more product than I expected based on the instructions on the jar. After application, I keep my hair in a cloth (plop) for about 15 minutes to a half hour, then I let it down. As long as I do NOT touch my hair until it is dry (not just "gel cast" dry - but really dry) I wind up with shortened, hard, crunchy curls... That sounds bad...BUT...after I "scrunch" with refresher spray or Kinky-Curly Spiral Solutions (then let that dry), my hair softens and comes to life. The end result: after around 8+ hours, I have shiny, bouncy, incredibly soft, well defined curls that last for days. I like to use this after my "Sunday cleanse", and my sleep cap helps keep tangles away. I can't get over how soft my hair feels with this.

I had been searching for a porduct to use to wean me off of using chemical relaxers and I know I had found it. I saw kinky-curly on this website and thought, okay I'll try it and it works. After shampooing and conditioning, I put on the kinky-curly and my hair laid nicely as if it had been chemically relaxed! It's really awesome. Don't mean to put the chemical relaxers out of business, but if you use the chemical relaxers too much, it'll either make you sick or take your hair out, or both. Thank God for Kinky-Curly!
