I see why the reviews are two extremes. I am more to the positive side. It is expensive but considering the amount each time I use it is way bigger than 2oz liquid foundation. it is light but the coverage is excellent. can be used as foundation and concealer.
To my opinion, I don't think it is good product for oily or large pored skin though not because it is oily or heavy ( it is actually very light to me - I have dry skin mostly) but the way it blends on the skin - I think it might get into creases or pores more on oily skin.
speaking of colors complete 16 colors on kevynaucoin.com. use that site as reference. Luckily, I got my right tone without returning an dreordering.

All purpose product!!
I mix this with my SPF 40 sunscreen for allover coverage. Most tinted sunscreens offer very little coverage or don't have enough SPF. I'm sick of trying them all. With this I'll just make my own and get on with my life.
Works as a concealer too! I use it full strength around my nose and under eyes. Literally it takes the tiniest, tiniest dab to get good spot ceverage. Oh yeah, covers pores without making me look like a drag-queen. Yes!
I mix it with my moisterizer for dewy, natural evening make-up.
Blends right in.
You need so very little, it is so concentrated...this will last me a while.
It doesn't spill and it doesn't take up any room. What's not to like??

Actually, zero stars. What a ripoff! Greasy, not natural looking, and way too expensive. Yuck!

I have been using this product, and all Kevyn Aucoin products, for over a year and absolutely LOVE this concealer. At first I used it only as concealer, and it is the only one I've ever used that lasts all day and never becomes dry or make up looking without having to reapply or touch it up or anything. I also started mixing some of it with my moisturizer in the mornings and it is amazing. And, while it seems expensive, it lasts forever, making it a really good deal.

This is a spectacular foundation!! I was very unsure of the color at first, but I took a chance on SX03. I have light skin tone with some freckles and this is a perfect match...I'm glad I didn't go with SX07 because I know it would have been too dark. The color of this is very neutral, not a lot of yellow, more on the light beige side. The color swatch is very off, so don't be fooled. I've never had a foundation that covers this well or looks as natural. I used to do makeup professionally and I will say this is a superior product! Also, try the creamy moist glow blush, and the loose powder, diaphanous...they are also truly amazing!

I was fooled by the price. It is just a heavy grease with very little pigment once blended.
