I use this mascara every day and I love it. I have very straight eyelashes which I have to curl in order for them to go up. Usually what happens with every other mascara I have bought is I put it on and then 5 minutes later I recurl my eyelashes. In an hour they are back to flat again and you can't even tell I have mascara on. With this mascara, I put it on, recurl and voila! It keeps my lashes curled, separated and long all day long! I work 12 hour shifts and at the end of the day, it looks like I just put it on. The other thing I love about it is that when you wash your face at the end of the night, it comes off easily and you don't need to use a separate makeup remover. This is the only mascara you will ever need!!

This mascara does what it says it will. It's not extremely special, though. It's very dark but doesn't lengthen, volumize, or curl in the way that Diorshow (as referenced by other reviewers) does. It will provide a great mascara if you don't want as dramatic an effect. The brush is also teeny-tiny, which makes it easier to get the smaller lashes but also harder to apply a lot of product.

As for removal, it comes off in little gooey, rubbery, black pieces. Yeah, it's easy to remove, but I prefer something more watery so when I take it off at night I can make sure I have every last bit off. With this, I end up with gooey black balls of mascara I missed on my face in the morning after.

All in all, I wouldn't necessarily buy it again unless I had naturally latisse-esque lashes. Since mine are short, straight, and thin, It doesn't do a whole lot.

I have literally tried almost every lengthening masara ever! I am a licensed esthetician and makeup artist, so I have had access to everything from L'Oreal to Blinc (not a fan) . I do love the new Chanel inimatible, but this one blows it out of the water. I have been a fan of Kevyn's work for years and have several of his book, with Making Faces being my favorite. This mascara does it all, LENGTHENS, SEPARATES, ADDS DRAMA, BLACKENS, AND POPS! I do have long lashes to begin with, but this mascara makes them look fake. I wil never buy another mascara, and I already called all my girlfriends! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. This blows Defincils away and makes it look wimpy in comparison! Believe the hype, this is the REAL DEAL! I am worried about it selling out, so buying a few more... :)

Without a doubt, Kevyn Aucoin's mascara is my favorite! It goes on beautifully, stays on all day with no smudging or flaking, and washes off easily. It uses the tube technology, but succeeds where the other two similar (tube type) mascaras fail as it actually adds fullness and length - the other tube type ones I've tried just didn't really do anything. I am a mascara junkie - and I have tried so many over the years I couldn't even count, but before Kevyn's the only mascara I would repurchase was Difinicils (Lancome), no more - for the last several years I've used almost exclusively Kevyn Aucoin (of course, being a mascara addict I do still try others from time to time). I always keep a couple of Kevyn Aucoin's mascaras available - just like everyone else says - IT IS THE BEST! I would give it 10 stars if I could! Absolute HG mascara! Continual repurchase!

I just purchased this mascara after reading all of the great reviews, and I'm so glad I did! I like a dramatic eye, and I'm always searching for a mascara that really gives a false lash effect. This one is up there with my favorites!
I was a Dior Show loyalist for years, but it started to lose its "wow" factor for me. I also started to dislike the fat brush. This mascara has a very narrow brush that manages to perfectly separate the lashes. It really lengthens, and the color is a true pitch-black. It does not budge, and comes off cleanly with warm water.
I'm so pleased with this product, I think I'll be purchasing Kevyn's curling mascara as well!

It takes a little while to get used to removing a tubular mascara, but the tiny extra effort is worth all the pros! I love it because it does not smear and you won't get "racoon eyes" from day to night...even when you perspire a little!

This is the only mascara that I will repurchase. It's basically a tubing mascara which adds fibers to your lashes giving them amazing length and volume. When wearing this, I've been asked if I wear false lashes! The best part is, it never smudges on me. I have oily eyelids and I've found after using a billion mascaras that the only mascara that never smudges is one with tubing technology. I hope that this product never gets discontinued!

I'm not a specialist in this area, but I like this product so far. It's weird how it washes off, but I like it.

I don't have many eyelashes and this is the only mascera that I have found that gives me some. The small brush is part of the trick but it works great.

Love it! Stays on and defines amazingly well but is also really easy to remove! My favorite mascara ever!!!
