This is the only mascara that I will repurchase. It's basically a tubing mascara which adds fibers to your lashes giving them amazing length and volume. When wearing this, I've been asked if I wear false lashes! The best part is, it never smudges on me. I have oily eyelids and I've found after using a billion mascaras that the only mascara that never smudges is one with tubing technology. I hope that this product never gets discontinued!

This mascara does what it says it will. It's not extremely special, though. It's very dark but doesn't lengthen, volumize, or curl in the way that Diorshow (as referenced by other reviewers) does. It will provide a great mascara if you don't want as dramatic an effect. The brush is also teeny-tiny, which makes it easier to get the smaller lashes but also harder to apply a lot of product.
As for removal, it comes off in little gooey, rubbery, black pieces. Yeah, it's easy to remove, but I prefer something more watery so when I take it off at night I can make sure I have every last bit off. With this, I end up with gooey black balls of mascara I missed on my face in the morning after.
All in all, I wouldn't necessarily buy it again unless I had naturally latisse-esque lashes. Since mine are short, straight, and thin, It doesn't do a whole lot.

This is the best mascara I have ever used. It does everything it says it will do. It's a tubing mascara so it comes off really easy, you don't even need to use eye makeup remover, which makes it healthier for your lashes. It's worth every penny!

I use this prodct on top of less expensive mascara to lenthen, seperate and add volume. Expensive but comparable to other high priced cosmetics.

Haven't used mascara in years because I don't like the way that it clumps and pulls on my eyelashes. Kevyn Aucoin mascara is like none I have ever used! The delicate wand give precise application and allows you to coat each lash evenly and thoroughly. The mascara is light but provides an amazing coverage and made my eyelashes look amazingly long! I loved it - ordered my second one and wear it everyday. It never smudges or runs and is so easy to remove. I have allergies and have no problems with it. Could not be happier.

This is a "tube technology" mascara and can be removed with warm water-- it's kind of odd how it slides off lashes after contact with warm water, but I like that aspect of it because removal is easy. No special removers are required. The brush is nice and narrow for hard to reach lashes. This mascara also does not smudge like others I've used, but it does flake unfortunately. Overall, I prefer Kevyn Aucoin's "curling" mascara because it does not flake. I wish that both mascaras didn't dry up so quickly though.

If you are lucky enough to have great lashes then this product may be sufficient.
I unfortunately have straight, sparse lashes and thought this product would be great.
The brush it turns out is one of those "wands" and the picture over accentuates the bristles, they are not that long IRL.
It takes a lot of applications to show up even with (crummy lashes) and washes off like black goo as mentioned in another review.
It also flaked during the day and irritated my eye.
Save your money and buy a cheaper brand!!!!

I love this mascara so much - I'm on my third tube, and am hooked. I absolutely LOVE the easy removal. No more raccoon eyes or irritating rubbing to get the black off at night. This has been amazing. But if I didn't love the way it looked, easy removal wouldn't ultimately win out - happily, I really love the look of this mascara! It builds really nicely in layers, so that I can get a thick look if I want it, or a more natural look if I just want a swipe or two. It definitely adds length as well. I find that it stays on very well - I mean, it's not waterproof, so, it will come off if subjected to a TON of moisture (e.g. I do hot yoga and sweat like CRAZY and it occasionally flakes a bit by the end) but in the normal course of my days it stays put better than other mascaras I've had which would inevitably smudge. A fantastic mascara, all around.

FINALLY! A mascara that doesn't rub off under my eyes. It's comfortable to wear. Never globs. Looks natural. Comes off with any face cleanser - no eye make-up remover needed.
Love the narrow brush - it prevents the mascara from going places you don't want it to, like the waterline.
This is my mascara FOR LIFE!!!

I was pretty disappointed with this product. Even the amazing brush was not enough to cause me to overlook that once the product was opened and used a few times, it became very difficult to deal with. The formula dries way too fast and leaves the lashes looking dull and dry. The flaking became a problem when the flakes continually managed to find their way into my eyes. Granted, the formula is water-proof and did not smudge, but the flaking was too much to take. I won't be purchasing this product again.
