This is a great product! I have worked in cosmetics and skincare for many years, and what many people do not understand about high-SPF products is that there is a tradeoff. The active ingredient in this product is titanium dioxide, which is an organic sunscreen. It creates a physical barrier and will make the product appear 'whitish' when applied to the skin. There is no way around this with a high-SPF titanium dioxide based product, therefore it does look best on medium to fair skin colors. Chemical sunscreens are colorless, but can be irritating to some people, especially on the face. Of similar products I have tried, this one actually absorbs the best, make sure to massage it on and wait a few minutes before applying makeup. I love this product, the texture works well on my normal skin, and it smells great!

I have been trying to find the sunblock lotion with Titanium Dioxide, as it is the best and not irritating to the skin, like other chemicals. But somehow this product still irritates my skin. It is also quite thick, so best for normal-dry skin. If you have dry skin, it won't be enough, which makes it a very expensive sun block. If you have oily skin, you have to put some powder on top. It protects the sun well, and you don't get burned.

I can not say this is perfect but I have to use sunscreen everyday as my living environment is mostly sunny. Probably because titanium dioxide is a natural sunscreen it does not make my skin break out in fact my skin looks more clear now. The ingredients such as green tea are great for my damaged and aging skin. The only downside is that my face looks a bit too shiny for my taste but nobody has said anything so far and I am just going to look for a good mineral powder to cover the shine. As for the chalky white look all sunscreens do that. Most importantly I am not putting chemicals on my face!

I feel awful writing a negative review for an organic product, but this smelled so toxic that I was reluctant to rub it on my face. When I finally did, it was extremely thick and just balled up without absorbing into my skin. The consistency is so thick that it is nearly impossible to even extract from the bottle. Not impressed with this.

Nice, but a bit thick. You have to really work to blend it in. It is non-irritating though and doesn't make me break out. I'll buy again.

I agree about the chalky color, but I found that I can help eliminate that by squirting a couple dabs onto my palm and adding a tiny splash of water to help it spread thinly over my face. Even with this added strategy, it still leaves a little film over my skin that I can sometimes slightly rub off. Yuck. I hate to toss this, so I'll keep using it, but I will look elsewhere afterwards.

The ingredients in this sunscreen are top notch. I use it over my regular sunscreen because I like the high physical protection it provides. I live in Florida and my skin sees sun year round, but I do not want the sun damage. Therefore, I take sunscreen and sunblock seriously. I am giving this product 4 stars because of the white cast it leaves on your face. The white cast is from the heavier use of physical sun blockers. It is what makes the product work. But, I can't reasonably give a product 5 stars that is anything less than perfect. The white cast is extremely noticeable. My skin is the fairest of fair, so I can't imagine it on anyone with pigment in their skin.

I bought this because I am going through some dermatological treatments where I need to wear a physical sunblock (titanium dioxide or zinc oxide) afterward. I also didn't want something that would irritate my healing skin. This has worked perfectly, and I'm pretty sure it is making my skin look better overall. I even wear it at night sometimes because it makes my skin look and feel better in the morning. That said, it does leave a white cast on the skin. I have very fair skin that is my summertime shade right now, and I need to wear a layer of makeup over this to make my skin seem a natural color. I think that I will be able to wear this without makeup in the wintertime when I'm thoroughly pale again and look normal. It definitely provides great sun and light protection.

I love this sunscreen/moisturizer! I have very sensitive skin and this is the only SPF 30 I have found that doesn't irritate my face. I'm not sure it would work so well on tan skin, because the titanium dioxide does tend to leave a white cast. But I have very pale skin so I can blend it perfectly.

This is quite possibly the best sunscreen that I have ever tried! It has not clogged my pores, and rubs on well enough that there aren't any white streaks. (My skin is rather fair, though). I would definitely recommend this.

I'm light-skinned, and this left a totally unacceptable chalky mask on my face that I could not for the life of me blend or rub in. It has a thick, gluey texture that my skin could not absorb, and I have normal to dry skin. I am very disappointed, particularly because this is a pricey product.
