Be sure you use just the right amount of product in your hair which for me is just a little because I have short, fine hair. It can add weight to your hair if you over do it. I love this product for the way it adds shine and controls the frizzies. Also, it contains natural ingredients and no animal products. I don't mind the scent of the product although I understand why some people may think it is too strong. Give it a try. The price isn't bad at all. Thanks Jonathan.

I use a tiny bit of this on my long, fine hair at at the very end of styling as a finishing touch. It helps to define my layers and smooth my hair. The scent is strong, as other reviewers have stated. It is a smoky vanilla-y scent, not stinky at all. In fact, I've received compliments on it (from men). Though this product is not the "lynchpin" hair product for me (right now that product is l'oreal absolut repair neofibrine leave-in conditioner, my hair looks gorgeous with it and terrible without it) I would recommend it as a finishing touch. If you already know that you're sensitive to strong scents or hate vanilla (yes, there are people who do) just skip it.

I use this product as a leave in conditioner. It works very well when applied to my damp hair after shampooing. My hair is naturally wavy, thin & starting to gray. This product stops the frizz, adds shine and helps with styling.

This is a winner! Great smell and works well for calming down the frizzies in wavy hair. Also, you only need a small amount so it will last a long time. You definitely get your moneys' worth. If you happen to have highlights, it also seems to brighten your highlights a bit when you first apply it. I love it!

I have used the regular DIrt product but the silky is more
manageable and now part of my daily hair product. I use it after blow drying and use of straight iron. Nothing like it! Use it on the ends to keep you hair looking great all day. Not greasy at all and smell wonderful.

I love this product. It gives my wavy hair a nice sheen and I like what it does for my curls, gives them some definition instead of just looking frizzy. It is pretty pricey but you really need a teeny tiny amount, use sparingly.
