I have fine, color treated, naturally curly hair. This product gives my hair the look most of us like when our hair is "dirty". It adds control and shine without weight-makes the most of my natural curls. The price is very reasonable for the results. It also has a very pleasant smell. I will definitely be ordering silky dirt again!

Comments about Jonathan Product Silky Dirt, Shine & Define Creme, 3.35 oz:

I have tried a bezillion (no, really!) different products supposedly designed for curly hair; I always come back to this one. It is a bit heavy and greasy but if your hair is coarse or curly, it will give you a bit of weight (and make it behave) or if you use a bit less product, it will give you loads of bounce and either way you get shine and the de-frizz factor. I could kick myself every time I try something new and end up throwing it away, wasting money. Note to self: NEVER buy any other product but this one again!!!

I received this product as a free sample in an order, and I will definitely purchase it in the future. A little goes a long way. I have medium wavy hair, and it works very well when I curl my hair. The curls last all day, and I don't have to use hair spray to hold the curl. Therefore, my hair looks defined yet soft. I also like that the product is natural.

Comments about Jonathan Product Silky Dirt, Shine & Define Creme, 3.35 oz:

I love this product. I have never used anything like it before. I have thin wavy hair that gets weighed down easily and the curls don't hold with other products. Silky Dirt gives me lots of volume with soft curls. I actually use it on wet hair, but just a little bit on the ends to set my curls while it air dries. The scent did take getting used to. Reminded me of cocoa (not my favorite), but now that I know its almond it doesn't bother me.

I love this product!! I had never even heard of it until I received a free sample with another order I placed... and I LOVE it!! I went online to purchase my own full size tube and found it to be a little pricey, but I think it will be well worth it, not to mention the tiniest amount goes a very long way, so it will probably last twice or three times as long as my current product, therefore the cost will even out. I love the way it smells and if you have wavy, coarse hair like mine, it totally defines the shape and makes it so much more manageable! A+ product!

I absolutely love this product. I apply it to my hair when it is dry and love how it looks! Use just a little and it truly does make a difference. I think Jonathan is a bit arrogant, (based on Blow Out) but I have yet to try a product of his that is not fantastic and worth the money! PS This stuff smells TERRIFIC!

Comments about Jonathan Product Silky Dirt, Shine & Define Creme, 3.35 oz:

It's named Silky "Dirt" after the original Dirt product. It's supposed give you the 'day after washing your hair' feel. They say your hair behaves and looks better the day after washing, but I always end up washing it every day anyway so this product works for me in that sense. I do find when my hair is too clean it has much more static, flyaways, dryness etc. I remember this from the TV show Jonathan had, I forget the name of the show.

Comments about Jonathan Product Silky Dirt, Shine & Define Creme, 3.35 oz:

Why did they name it "dirt"? Couldn't say. Why did they make it smell a little like cough medicine? Who knows. But it works exactly as advertised and I love it. I definitely would not recommend it for thin hair, but if your hair is thick, wavy, course, or is a little hard to tame, and is dry, this is a great product. It doesn't dry out the hair, like most styling products (which, for hair that is already thick or wavy, just compounds the problem) - it really seems to add moisture, yet it gives the hair nice body, unlike leave-in conditioners. I'm very pleased.

Comments about Jonathan Product Silky Dirt, Shine & Define Creme, 3.35 oz:

This product is amazing! I have to agree with the other reviewers, the smell is so nice! It reminds me of vanilla with something else. You need to use it like a pomade, a little on your fingertips goes a long way. It's great for my dry, stressed hair, it makes it shiny and sleek. I would not recommend this for fine or thin hair or anyone who has oily hair. It's too heavy of a product.
