We are currently renting a house with very hard water. This filter has softened the water in our shower helping my skin feel less dry and my hair not feel so weighted with minerals. This product did not diminish the water pressure at all. I highly recommend it for folks who don't want to invest in a whole house water purification system. It will also be easy to uninstall and move to our next house.

I have actually been using this system for 2 years now and never questioned it, i just assumed it was doing its job. I just recently purchased a dissolved solids meter to check the quality of my tap water and decided to also test how well the Jonathan Beauty Water system was doing. I tested my tap water for dissolved solids (parts per million) and got the following readings from the meter... Cold tap- 38ppm Hot tap 50ppm. Then I tested my Brita water filter that I use for drinking and got a reduced amount of 20ppm, just so I could make sure the meter was working. And when I tested the water coming out of the Jonathan water system, using a brand new filter to be fair, and I got these readings.. Cold shower water- 34ppm, Hot/Lukewarm shower water 50ppm. I was very disappointed that there was no difference in lukewarm to hot water which is what most people shower with, but now that I think about it how could water that is traveling so fast through a shower filter possibly be effective at removing harmful metals. Anyway, I hope this helps some people. Dan.

I did not purchase this product for "beauty" purposes. I purchased this product to filter impurities such as chlorine, fluoride, and other contaminants. Thus, this was more of a purchase for health reasons.But, I have noticed a difference in my skin, scalp, and hair. The filter has a massage setting, too. Nice bonus!

This filter really does live up to its name. Since I started using it I have noticed that my hair is shinier and my skin is softer. I have thin hair and I typically let my hair air dry. My hair looks better than it ever has!

This is one of the best investments I've made! My skin and hair feels so soft and clean. My hair looks healthy, shiny and full of body (even my new growth was soft). I definitely would recommend this product, yes the price is expensive but its worth it I think.

I had huge trouble with color fade even using Pureology exclusively. After I purchased this, my stylist was surprised that I retained color much better. She asked what I did. After I told her, she has recommended this to her other clients, even though her shop doesn't sell this item. Purified water helps my skin as well and prevents shower scum on the tile. All together, a win-win solution.

I had never thought of a water purifier for the shower. When I read about this, it made perfect sense so I wanted to see if it really made a difference. I can't believe the change! My hair looks so much better! My color treatments last longer and my hair looks so much healthier. It holds its style longer and is shinnier and has more body. Plus, it has a great effect on my skin too. I never thought about how all the contaminates in water would affect my skin, but they obviously do. Since I've started using this purification system, my skin is clearer and and cleaner feeling. This is definitely worth the money!

This is the best, it saved my hair.I moved to San Diego from central CA, where the water is good,didn't know the water was so bad here,This filter removes all the pollutants and makes your skin feel good too. A life saver for me. I recommend it highly.

It was easy to install, and I think I felt a difference. The real difference was when I used Jonathan's shampoos with it. INCREDIBLE!!

I had been looking for something like this, when I tested our water it almost hit the hardest level on the testing strip and constantly treating my hair is expensive. I didn't see a difference when I first used it, when the filter was newest. I've kept using it but I still have to constantly use treatments on my hair, and the new filters are really expensive. It doesn't save me money in hair treatments, so that's why I gave it a 3.
