Comments about Jane Iredale PurePressed Base Pressed Mineral Powder, Amber, .35 oz:
Colors are difficult to choose over the internet so here are some tips from my experience: I use Amber which is Medium Fair with yellow undertones, and Warm Sienna, which is Medium Fair with strong yellow undertones (This shade also works well on Asian skins) and I have used Warm Silk, which is Fair with yellow undertones, almost a universal color, but it was too light for me.

Comments about Jane Iredale PurePressed Base Pressed Mineral Powder, Amber, .35 oz:
My skin would break out whenever I used normal liquid or powder foundations. Then I started using Bare Minerals which fortunately had no affect on my skin, thus allowing me to finally use foundation (with sunscreen!!!) without worrying about breakouts, and was so easy to apply. The only problem with Bare Minerals, however, was the colors. I had to combine colors, and they still didn't match my skin perfectly. A year later this problem was solved when I used some of my mom's Jane Iredale makeup. Not only did the color totally match my skin, but it also seemed to go on my skin smoother, like it was a little more refined. Whenever I wear it, it covers my skin well yet it feels really nice, light, and it looks like I'm not wearing anything. Recently, my aesthetician put some Colorscience makeup on me, which is another salon quality mineral makeup line, but didn't like it as much as Jane Iredale. When I told my aesthetician that I was using Jane Iredale, she said that I should just stick to it. Bottom line: Been using this brand for three years now, and don't plan on changing!

Comments about Jane Iredale PurePressed Base Pressed Mineral Powder, Amber, .35 oz:
Always liked the idea of mineral makeup but those annoying mica sparkles just settled in the cracks and made me look old- not this product- this stuff is great! You can dial the coverage up or down depending on if you use it wet or dry- or if you use more powder or less. It's lightweight, and natural looking and really I just can't say enough good things about it. It's not tested on animals and doesn't have weird chemicals in it either. I'm not a fan of makeup-foundation in general, but this product is amazing. It's pricey but worth it.
