This mascara has a milk and conditioning formula with no lacquers, shellac or petroleum-based products. If you haven't been able to wear mascara due to sensitivity, try ours. Not only is it water resistant, it contains algae extracts which condition and protect lashes to reduce splitting and breakage. I have been searching for a mascara that rates low on the safe cosmetics database and finally came across Jane Iredale products. I like this mascara and I dont really see any difference from the brand I used before purchasing this one. What I love about this product is that there aren't toxic chemicals in it. It applies easy and lasts all day without smudging.

This is the only mascara that doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes. Initially I wasn't impressed with the effect, as it seemed only to separate & tint my lashes with very little lengthening. I did appreciate that it didn't sting my eyes, or flake/smudge like most other mascaras.
I'd forgotten about it until I received a sample of the PureLash extender & conditioner (this site doesn't carry it) which really lengthened my lashes when used just before the mascara. Apply mascara while the white coat is still wet for natural-looking long lashes. I have brown, which looks nice with my hazel eyes. If you don't mind paying extra for the extender, then I'd say it's worth trying.

this didn't do much for my lashes, and it took a while to get there. The brush had long bristles sticking out near the base of it, which I think was defective. It was easy to remove and didn't smudge during the day. still, I returned it because of too many cons.

If you are going for a no-make up look, this mascara is for you! It's very natural looking, which for me is too subtle, even for day time , but it might work for you if you like that sort of thing.

I use daily, usually over Sue Devitt's Black Widow Mascara for that finishing touch.
I find it VERY helpful to first separate your lashes with a brush -- helps ensure even-delivery of all mascara products.
And, of course, I also use Japonesque curler -- THE best!
This product can clump if you don't wipe excess from brush before applying.

Was hoping for more than this mascara gave. Very disappointed, but I am still on the hunt for a great natural mascara.
This isn't bad if you like the "natural" look.
