Lift off the top and unscrew the applicator. Remove the safety seal. Replace the applicator. Shake product down to release powder into the sponge. Dab on and then smooth with the sponge.
For the best results, layer the lightweight powder over moisturized skin. This will help the powder adhere to the skin more effectively. The sponge cap is easily removed and can be washed. Replace when it's dry.

Comments about Jane Iredale Powder-Me SPF Dry Sunscreen, Golden, .62 oz:
I called the company to get more information about the "golden" shade, as there was little information to be found online. The rep told me it's moderate - not too dark and not transluscent. I have to agree. I use the Amber shade of the Jane Iredale powder foundation and it's pretty close to that, with a slight orange undertone. I would call it "beginning summer tan" color.
I have light/medium olive skin with melasma. The golden color has just a tad too much "orange" undertone for my preference, but it's not bad at all and I would buy it again. It also doesn't offer as much color coverage as I'd like, but the Jane Iredale powder foundation does not offer a lot of coverage of my melasma either. (For true coverage, I prefer to first apply a small amount of Juice Beauty's medium (tan) tinted face moisturizer - which is a tad too dark for me as well but I love it anyway.)
All in all, I like it. It is super easy to apply and I love that I can put it on my neck and ears very quickly. I love the higher SPF compared to the foundations, too. If you don't have melasma, you could simply use a light swipe of moisturizer first, let it dry for a few minutes, and then apply this. Your face will look great!
