As mentioned, this has a creepy Lemon Pledge scent, it's kind of cakey and can leave a little bit of white cast on your lips when heavily applied. Having said that, I will also say that I've NEVER used anything that heals a bad case of chapped lips so intantly and completely. It's almost miraculous, in fact, and for that reason I'll continue to use it despite the price, odd smell, and weird texture. You can put chapstick or lipstick on top of this product, too.

I bought this product because I was looking for a good quality and safe SPF lip balm to use everyday. It scored high on ewg.org, so I paid more money than I normally would to buy it. It didn't moisturize very well (so it wasn't all-in-one) and left a slight whitish tint to my lips so I didn't like to use it alone. It had a lemon taste to it, which was pleasant. I would use it over another lip balm or under lip gloss until the product cracked down the middle in the tube. I have no idea how this happened, and it has never happened with any of the millions of lip balms I've used before. A few times, chunks of lip balm would come off as I used it because the stick wasn't whole. I tried to cut off the part that was cracked in hopes of using what was further down the tube, but somehow it had all become cracked and chunky. I did not even get to finish the tube and I certainly didn't get my money's worth. I say there are better options.

Comments about Jane Iredale LipDrink Lip Balm SPF 15, .18 oz:
This is the best sunscreen lip balm recommended by the Environmental Working Group that I've tried. It actually smells and tastes good (a light lemon scent/taste) and is not overly thick and does not make your lips look ghostly white. It is not clear, however, and makes my lips look a little bit lighter in color than normal, so I usually add a lipstick or something on top. It's not necessary, though, and I think I'd be the only one to really notice it.

Comments about Jane Iredale LipDrink Lip Balm SPF 15, .18 oz:
Be prepared for white lips! Jane Iredale has changed the formula of Lip Drink. I worked in a day spa that sold JI cosmetics, and I'm very familiar with all their products. This USED to be a great lip moisturizer. It still does an ok job of moisturizing lips, and the strong lemon taste is pretty much gone, which is a good thing to me. BUT, they have changed the formula, because now this goes on heavy opaque white, and it stays white on your lips, which ruins the look of lipstick. It's also somewhat waxy, and doesn't moisturize as well as it used to, lips don't feel as soft and smooth. I'll only use this when I'm out at the pool, will have to find something else for daily use under lipstick. I'm very disappointed in the changes!

I love this lip balm. It works well, protects my lips from the sun, and the packaging is very good...the lid stays on securely in my purse. A little of this goes a long way.

I have tried everything on the market, and this is one of the best. I have a bad habit of licking my lips which leaves me with very chapped lips. This product is awesome and free of all the waxs & oils that actually defeat the process.

I think this is better than Fresh Sugar. And the price is certainly a bargain when compared to it. It's a keeper !
