Comments about Jane Iredale 24-Karat Gold Dust, Rose Gold, .06 oz:
This is NOT a pink color, and is very dark. It is more like a brick color, and does not apply evenly. I'll probably give it to someone with darker skin than me.

Comments about Jane Iredale 24-Karat Gold Dust, Rose Gold, .06 oz:
I received a 24k Rose Gold Dust as a gift with purchase, and I'm so happy to have gotten something for free that I will really use! I've been a mineral makeup user for many years, so I've tried and accumulated a lot of it. Sometimes, with minerals, products from various companies can have different names and claims, but as far as actual performance goes, mostly it winds up being really, really similar stuff. I have a couple of Bare Minerals Bare Radiance powders, and I've used Bare Minerals All-Over-Face Color in True for years. Jane Iredale's Gold Dusts, in print, appear to have the same uses as the these products: highlighter/shimmer/glow/sheer sparkles. I don't care in the least that Gold Dusts contain 24-Karat Gold, because the last thing I want for a daytime look is tacky, pore-enhancing glitter. Not that glitter is bad! (I think it's beautiful, actually), but it's bad for me, because, in daylight, it tends to completely defeat the purpose of controlling my shine. Gold Dust in Rose Gold is a lightweight, fine mineral powder, but that's pretty much the only thing it has in common with the Bare Radiance and All-Over-Colors. Rose Gold is a highly concentrated, highly pigmented powder that shows up on my skin as a golden coral. It's not a color I could freely dust over my whole face or body without diluting it with other powder or moisturizer. The previous mineral products I mentioned could never be used as blush on my skin, but Rose Gold makes an utterly gorgeous blush. Sometimes I use it as eyeshadow as well, and as lip color. Rose Gold is a powder that has to be applied very sparingly because the color has a lot of intensity. Other shimmer powders add shimmer with slight hints of tone, but this adds tone with very slight hints of shimmer. On me, apparently 24-Karat Gold is friendly for daytime wear (it figures), because I've worn this in the daytime, and checked very carefully in different lightings to see if I'm sporting the Disco Will Never Die and/or Attack of the Mutant Facial Pores looks, and so far so good! Gold Dust Rose Gold is what I wanted my more-than-twice-as-expensive Coralista to be (it tricked me in Sephora's lighting): a lightweight blush that compliments and enhances my skin, eye, and hair colors. For those of you who remember the old "season" color typing, I'm pure Autumn, and I learned long ago not to bother trying cool, or even most neutral colors. Rose Gold is perfect. This freebie is much appreciated, and enjoyed, and I'm sure I'll repurchase this when I've used it up. Great price too! I look forward to wearing this for more "natural" summer makeup looks.

Comments about Jane Iredale 24-Karat Gold Dust, Rose Gold, .06 oz:
I have used this when I go out at night. It adds too much sparkle for my taste for day time wear and this rose color has a darker effect than I thought it would. I don't like sparkles on my face so I just put it on my neck and chest. If you like alot of sparkle, go for it.
