I'll be honest - I've tried various bronzers that have made promises like a "just a hint of color" , or "no chalky fake-looking "contour" (soooo 80's) - and I've been disappointed each time. I have fair skin, and I really just want something that looks like the ads-promise: dewey (read...not chalky/powdery)"sun kissed" cheeks. I can't tell you how many bronzers and bronze highlighters ended up in the reject pile.
But...light at the end of the tunnel - I finally found the holy grail of bronzers; vitality glow. I was a little thrown off by 'matte' but the ingredient list includes collagen, vitamins, aloe and more that keep it from looking flat and dead. It looked a bit dark in the compact - but I think that has more to do with the density - it actually went on beautifully, and for once, I am wearing bronzer without looking like a clown. It's been 6 hours now, and it still looks good.
The price point might throw you at first - but this is a huge compact of bronzer, and frankly, to find one I love and can use everyday is worth every penny to me.
