I am really impressed by this product! It does what it says and makes your pores look smaller! If you are looking to smooth your skin's appearance this will definitely do that, but it will not cover skin imperfections like discolorations or acne. I am 40 with oily/combination skin and very large pores on my nose and upper cheeks and this seriously works magic! I have 2 of these, one that I use getting ready and one for my purse. It is very white/light as others have mentioned, but the trick is not to add very much. Even so, I think it must work best with fair/light skin and medium skin at the darkest.
Some have mentioned it settling into creases or looking cakey, but if you follow my tips below, I think you will get much better results.
Here's how I use it now after some trial/error:
1. Take the lid off, hold on to the powder puff lightly and the bottom of the container & shake lightly. There should be dots of powder on the puff when you are through; if the whole puff is full of powder, that is way too much.
2. Next, the trick is to use the powder puff very sparingly....I actually use about 1/4 of the puff on the first spots and rotate the puff so I'm not putting too much on any one spot. The spots I dab (not rub) the powder onto are my nose, the creases on both sides of my nose, my eyelids (before eye makeup to give it staying power) T-Zone and chin.
3. After I have dabbed the powder on those places, the excess powder on the puff is gone and I use the whole puff to lightly smooth out the 'dabs' of powder using a light downward stroking motion.
This gives me the perfect application & makes my skin look much smoother and more 'poreless' than it really is. Also, if you use it this sparingly, it will last much longer. In the summer, I occasionally follow this with a little bit of bronzer since it is such a light product.
I did give this product 5 stars, but would definitely buy it in a darker shade if it was available and a pressed powder compact for purse would be nice too! :)

I wanted to like this powder, as I prefer to use a non talc-based powder. But this doesn't really hide pores any better than a regular powder. It's just OK for controlling shine. Given the price, I probably would not buy it again as it's just not worth it. Also, it gives a whitish cast to the skin, which looks weird even on my ultra-pale skin tone.

Pores? What pores? Based on this powder I don't have any! This powder makes my skin look silky, soft, smooth, and flawless. It controls oil breakthrough as well as any issues sunscreen tries to inflict on my foundation. I LOVE this powder. I've tried many "HD" powders - this one hits the ball out of the park. In 110+ degree heat, I look cool as a cucumber.

I have the oily T zone and this micro powder is wonderful. I don't have an oily forehead anymore and this powder last all day. I will never go back to anything else. I would recommend this product to anyone who has oily skin.

Works well for me-- the secret is to have a fabulous brush that disperses the powder evenly and lightly; I use brushes from [@] and trish mcevoy. Also I have pale skin and that may be as factor but I don't think it makes me look ghost- like, just smooth(er).

I have aging skin with large pores (which seem to have gotten larger with age) and a bit of redness. I spot cover areas of my complexion with IT cover up (lots of pigment, so only a dab is needed to cover imperfections), then apply this powder with a puff. I mist my face with a light makeup setting spray for a finish. I love this, it never settles in wrinkles and leaves my skin looking smooth without covering up my natural skin. I have a warm medium coloring-both products from IT are perfect matches and I am very particular. I will go bare faced if a product makes me look too "made up" or heaven forbid, older than I look without make-up.

I wish they had this type of product years ago!! It smooths out your makeup application and makes it look natural. I now have a nice makeup application that lasts! The trick to this product is that you dont use a lot. If you use to much then it will be cakey and the other problems people are having. You must!! use a sponge applicator and use very little of the product. When you do this it just looks like the cover of a magazine finish. Its a must have for anyone that wears makeup.
