The blue color is beautiful. Much truer to it's name than the picture I see; over my dark blonde hair it came out the deep turquoise of a tropical lagoon. Looked pretty awesome on my fiend's black hair too.
It did take away natural shine, and I didn't care for the texture it left my hair (see my review of hot pink) but its smell is horrible. Sour milk! Very weird because there's no odor in the cake, only once it's on your hair. And it wasn't just my hair. I made another friend try it and she got the same weird smell too. It seemed to dissipate soon enough and couldn't be detected unless you held your hair strands right to your nose, but a little off putting.
