Comments about H2O Plus Marine Calm Hydrating Face Complex, 1 ea:
So I've used this in the morning until I used up the bottle but didn't see any difference in my skin. I found this while browsing under "serums & treatments" & bought it to use as a serum. Only by further researching this line did I realize they sell it as a moisurizer. My skin is very dry & sensitive & in no way does this work as a moisurizer. Maybe it works for those with very oily skin or if they put something like a BB cream or moisurizing foundation on top. I always put a much heavier cream on top of this.
I partly got this because of the "calming" claims. I found it did nothing for my cheeks' redness - maybe made it worse. There was a slight irritated/burning feel to my skin after application. It wasn't so bad I stopped use completely but also, after first trying twice a day use, I did switch to once.
I did like that it comes in a pump so it's not exposed to lots of air. But for some reason the bottle falls over a lot. It seemed to get top heavy as I went through the bottle so it was constantly falling off my shelf into the sink. Once after falling the whole pump part broke apart and it took a bit to get it back together.
It's hard to tell when using antioxidants what the cummulative effect of years of use will be. In that respect I did like the ingredients in this. I've come to think Vitamin C might just be a general irritant to my skin, so that may be the issue here. The price isn't terrible so I might buy more from this line. But there are lots of other brands to try.
