Comments about H2O Plus Aquafirm+ Micro-Collagen Eye Cream, .5 oz:
Note: I received a free sample of this product as a "gift with purchase," and have not yet purchased the full-size product.
As someone with very sensitive porcelain skin, undereye circles and puffiness are a constant issue. Every woman in my family has puffiness and dark blue undereyes (as a result of very fair skin with veins that show through the thin undereye skin). I decided to try this free sample last night as part of my normal nightly skincare routine, and I woke up this morning amazed! After just a single use, my husband commented that my undereye area looked less puffy, and less "blue," this morning before I put on any skin care products. (I almost never wear makeup, and I was makeup-free this morning as well.)
Dispensing the product from the free sample tube was a bit tricky, as it didn't give much control over the amount that squirted out of the tube (like most free sample tubes, it's underfilled compared to the size of the actual tube, and doesn't allow you to see how much you're dispensing during. The fact that the full-size product comes in a pot, instead of a tube, will no doubt make this a non-issue when I order it in the future). As a result, I probably applied a little more than needed, since I couldn't put the excess back into the tube. It's a very lightweight-feeling cream, and caused no irritation to my eyes or the delicate skin under them. It seemed to absorb very quickly, especially for an undereye cream (compared to serums and liquids), and left none of the common shininess, tackiness, or other visual residue, and no discernable texture when feeling my undereye area after absorption/drying, though I can't speak to how it may or may not affect makeup application/appearance.
Overall, this is a great product that I fully intend to purchase and use regularly.
