I must have tried at least 100 different brands of mascara from Lancome to Maybelline, however Fresh's Supernova beats the competition hands down. For one, this mascara says what it claims to do: add volume and holds curl. This mascara also conditions your lashes and is pretty easy to remove with some warm water and a some gentle eye-make-up remover. Only con is that it does smudge a bit in which I do not recommend using Supernova for lower lashes. However if you want full looking lashes with out clumping and problems with drying lashes, this mascara is it.

This did not perform as well as the L'oreal Voluminous which costs much less. By the end of the day, the mascara had drifted down so it looked like I had lined my lower lash line. Other mascara's don't require this much maintenance.

Apply slowly and close to the base of the eyelashes. Eyelashes are richer and more intense because it is a GLOSS black, not a Very Black or Jet Black.
Wish it wasn't so expensive.

This mascara is ok for coverage and fullness. Does not lengthen the lashes. I was disappointed with how much it runs under both my eyes - I have never had that happen, even with Cover Girl. I will return to my long time favorite, Diorshow.

This is my mascara. I stray, but then I come back. I am so happy to have found this since the demise of Ultima II. I loved their Falsies and Flutters mascara, and when it went away, I walked around in a funk for years trying to console myself with Dior, and L'Oreal, and Maybelline. this is my mascara. Don't EVER stop making it. And, BTW, bring back Firebird.

I enjoy this mascara, but wouldn't say that it does anything dramatic. I've been using it for years to no ill-effect; i.e., I haven't lost eyelashes, they aren't dry, the product doesn't irritate my eyes. For a bold, dramatic look I'd suggest another mascara, but for a daily, elegant look this one works well.

This is my second tube and I am still amazed at how it lifts my lashes (without a curler). It defines each lash and makes it seem like you're not wearing any mascara at all. LOVE IT.
