I received this as a sample and it's my new favorite! I will definitely order the large size. It smells amazing and I'm not even a citrus person! In fact, I'd go so far as to say that normally i HATE citrus scents. But this scent is completely different. It smells clean and bright, then fades to a warmer scent. It does need to be reapplied during the day because it does begin to fade. But I'm sure you'll love it so much you won't even mind having to spray it on again!

Far be it from me to have the ability to resist a fragrance inspired by Veuve Clicquot! Citron de Vigne is now my favorite Fresh fragrance; topping even the radiant Pink Jasmine. The top notes call to mind Fresh Sugar Lychee, which is wonderful for me. Citron de Vigne develops into a bouquet of lemon blossoms, sparkly citrus, and light, light, light woods. The overall effect of the fragrance reminds me of a summertime stroll beneath a canopy of trees when the path is suddenly brightened by sunshine streaming through branches. It's the feeling of sudden joy and warmth accompanied by the most alluring, uplifting breeze. The lasting power of Citron de Vigne isn't that bad on me, but it's definitely lighter than many other fragrances I wear. If you don't have the kind of skin that fragrance clings to, layering Citron de Vigne with the soap, etc. is probably the best bet for making it last throughout the whole day. All of Fresh's fragrances last better for me if I spray them on my clothing. After the initial zest, it fades to a skin scent quite fast, so you have to get close to smell it, but it does cling to skin for hours. I like to reapply it during the day because I adore the "buzz" from the topnotes. However, the base notes are tenacious and lovely. In the scent development there is a contrast that can be confusing to my nose, because the scent morphs from a fresh, citrusy beginning into a soft, ambery, yet "green" drydown. Mentally my nose prepares to smell the topnotes after they've dissipated, so I have to readjust my olfactory expectations, and then I realize the fragrance has become something warmer, like sunset beyond the trees, as the breeze languishes, and the night becomes still. Citron de Vigne is pure, bright, fresh, and elegantly sweet from beginning to end. It's a joy to wear. [$] isn't a bargain-bin price, of course, but this comes in a 3.4 oz. bottle, so you get a lot of fragrance. If you like l'Artisan's fresh fragrances, such as L'eau de l'Artisan and The pour une ete, ($135.00 for 3.4 oz.), you must try Citron de Vigne!

I own 5 different FRESH fragrances and this one is my favorite for everyday use (the other excellent one is the Red Basil Currant) This scent is light, like champagne, citrusy, enjoyable - unisex and great for everyday wear. My only reason for giving this one 4 stars (unlike the Red Basil Currant) is because Citron de Vigne isn't long lasting. I wish it lasted longer. If you're looking for a light scent, though, that smells good alone, or mixed with other FRESH scents, this is your scent.
