Comments about Foot Petals Amazing Arches, Buttercup, 1 pr:
Amazing Arches have been amazing because they have transformed unwearable (or wearable only with great pain) shoes into moderately comfortable ones. Cute thong sandals, flat gladiator sandals, 3.5 inch wedge heels -- they were all killing my feet. I've been putting "ball of foot cushions" into my shoes for years. About a year ago I started jogging and last month I was diagnosed with a heel spur on my left foot due to over-stressing the arch. The doc also told me that I should not wear flats or any shoes without arch supports. That is why I tried the Amazing Arches.
I have a medium or normal height arch but it is flexible and needs support. It may feel strange at first -- feeling something under your arch when you walk will be a new sensation. You will get used to it very quickly and then any shoe that doesn't have arch supports will feel "naked." I think of all the years I walked around with just air under my poor arch -- no wonder it is all worn out now!
The "problem" is that a pair of Amazing Arches is needed for every pair of shoes I wear -- and I've got many, many shoes! I've tried repositioning them from one pair of shoes to another and that hasn't worked well. I am starting with 6 pairs of my most frequently worn sandals and heels. The Amazing Arches come in buttercup (tan) and black and will show a lot or a little depending on the shoe. But someone has to be looking at bottom of your shoe near the underside of your foot to see them. And the comfort is so worth it!
