Comments about First Aid Beauty Anti-Redness Serum, 1.7 oz:

Wow-I bought the sample size hoping this product would surprise me and work well and then, miraculously, it did! I've been on prescriptions for my skin issues for over 20 years, used every drug store brand, home remedy, etc and have never found a truly effective method for reducing and managing the redness in my skin. I HATE how my skin always looks pinkish instead of just pale and the constant inflammation and breakouts makes everything else (moisturizer, makeup, treatments) that much more complicated.

I recommend this product because:

It did not further irritate my already touchy skin.
I didn't sneeze or get watery eyes from the scent-there's no fragrance.

Lots of products that have soothing ingredients like feverfew and licorice root, as this one does, still have fragrance for some dumb reason or other irritants. This one doesn't.

Goes on lightly, absorbs fast, makes a nice base for applying either more moisturizer, serums/treatments/medicine or makeup. I found that for the first time EVER I could go straight to applying my BB Cream instead of a moisturizer after this so this is a good moisturizer as well.

Visibly reduced redness and calmed the entire look of my skin. No burning, no itching, no breakouts, no disappointed.

What to know: I applied the product after cleansing and was worried it wasn't working. My skin was very red and I didn't see or feel a difference. I went to sleep but when I woke up the next day my skin was calm-looking, no redness and pink coloring, just almost-normal looking healthy skin minus the breakouts and scars I already had. I could not believe the huge difference!
To further test the effectiveness I have used all the samples twice daily at different times. For example I applied this at night but hours before bedtime so I could see if the difference was noticeable then instead of when I woke up and it was. Within maybe two hours my skin was noticeably less red. I then used this is the AM after showering and enjoyed a calmer and healthier looking complexion all day long (with makeup on).

I can't say enough how surprised I am by this product since I've been bummed out so many times before by largely ineffective products and broken promises. This is a million times better than anything else I've tried. The downside is the price tag but it actually works and it's worth it to me if I can snag it when it's on sale or with a coupon etc. I'm going to keep using this every single day morning and night as part of my routine and continue to reap the benefits.

Give a whirl and see the difference when you wake up. If you're struggling to make this product work for you try switching up your routine. I use things that are all for sensitive, oily and acne prone skin with limited ingredients or at least fragrance free and free of the usual irritants. I put this on after cleansing before anything else and after it's absorbed I then use my vit c serum & neosporin, my argan oil or moisturizer, my bp if necessary etc...make up if it's the daytime. Good luck! LOVE THIS PRODUCT.

My two complaints regarding this product are that is doesn't reduce redness and it also has an odd band-aid like smell. It does moisturize the skin and absorb easily but I won't buy it again.

Comments about First Aid Beauty Anti-Redness Serum, 1.7 oz:

I was pleased to see the product was light and easily absorbed. The first couple of days I felt a little stinging in my cheeks, but that went away soon. I've been using it for almost a month now and there's no difference in my skin, my cheeks are just as red as they were when I started using this product. By the way my redness is not severe, but mild.
