Out of all the over the counter straightening products I've tried over the years, this one works the best, but it's not perfect. It really does make your hair very soft and took all the frizz from my hair. Now it's more sleek than it ever was. It does help in the straightening process if you pull the hair straight while blow drying and cut a little bit of time from my flat ironing afterwards, but, i still have to use the flat iron. I have very fine hair with a strong wave in the underlayers. It makes my hair feel like I left the salon and it stays straight all day which is fabulous. And so far when it rains, it doesn't get fluffy and puffy looking in the humidity. I would say it's worth the price. I could do w/out the fragrance though being pefume sensitive. It has just enough fragrance to give me a sinus headache. I wish hair product companies would realize most of us can do without perfume in every single product.

This product is decent, but not sure if it's worth the higher price tag. I have slightly wavy hair around my face, so I was hoping this product would straighten it out without much effort on my part, but it didn't quite come through. I will probably try other straightening products before buying this again, but it's still a consideration. I guess I'm really on the fence with this product. I wouldn't recommend it to friends without trying other straightening balms first.

Done with Fekkai. He's fly, but none of his products work for me. This left my hair sticky, tacky and dull, with no movement, like doll or wig hair. It didn't straighten any better than anything else i've tried. Wish I could send it back. Back to the search for the perfect straightener.

I have extensions in my hair that are a little bit less wavy as my own hair. This product left the extensions pretty straight and my hair needing a little less flat iron time. It didnt completely straighten my natural hair as it did the extensions, but it saved me some time finishing off the top layer of my natural hair. It probably would have done an even better job if I'd had more time to blow dry in section. Overall, the product works well (no miracles folks. It cuts down on flat iron time and smells great.

My hair is thin and has a lot of curl in it that requires quite a bit of work. This product has not only cut time, but it has also made it more healthy. Because my hair is so thin, it tends to damage after repeated use of a straight iron. Therefore, I try not to use one as much as possible and only blow dry my hair straight in the mornings. I've used several straightening products that work well, but many of them tend to require a straight iron and/or leave a residue in my hair. This straightening balm leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth. It has made my mornings much easier as well. I highly recommend it to women with hair that is fine and wavy.

This stuff is amazing. I have fine, wavy hair and lots of it. I blow-out my hair twice a week and iron it daily. I spritz a liberal amount of the Fekkai thermal protecting spray over my hair, work in one pump of this straightening balm and dry my hair in sections. I use a large round natural bristle brush to blow out my hair. I immediately noticed that my hair just glided through the brush - no tugging and pulling! This HAS to be good for my hair - to prevent breakage and stress, so I think this product combo will contribute to future hair health. My hair is silky, shiny and getting comments from people like "what are you doing different to your hair? - it looks great!". I live in a humid area, so my hair tends to wave up by the end of the day despite ironing it, and this product REALLY helps to keep my hair much straighter and smoother. I have fine yet wavy, oily hair, and this combo of products does NOT make my hair greasy or heavy - I can go 3 days between shampoos. Would DEF purchase this again!

I tried this instead of my usual Phyto hair relaxing balm, and I wish I hadn't. It made my fine, wavy hair dull and limp. No shine at all. I tried using less, using more, but neither strategy worked. Big waste of money. I'm going back to Phyto.

I live in Manhattan, and have tried EVERYTHING to be able to defrizz, depuff, and straighten (or come close to it) in the summer...this is the best yet. I have even tried the no frizz line, which is also good, but this stuff makes the hair feel much better to the touch. Best for dry hair (mine is bleach highlighted); could see it being greasy otherwise. If you are looking for something to weigh your Shakira-like hair down, and look smooth, this is it. Fekkai; please come out with an ECONOMY SIZE VERSION :)

I received a sample of this product with another purchase and immediately ordered the full size product. Unlike other popular hair balms, this one does not weigh my hair down nor leave the 'greasy' look. I use it daily to control frizz. The product leaves my hair soft and touchable, no trace of stickiness of stiffness.
