I use this every time I wash and dry my hair. I apply it after I am finished drying. My hair is wavy/curly, colored and tends to get dry. Once I apply a small amount of this to my hair, work it through, I am amazed at the shine and the texture that it brings to my normally dull and dry hair. What I like most about it besides the shine and texture is that it lasts all day, you apply a small amount in the morning. If you want to refresh it for night, you just spritz a little water into your hair, take another tiny bit of product about the size of a dime and scrunch through hair and it looks like you just stepped out of the shower.

I used the original Glossing Cream for a few years and LOVE it. It is the saving grace to my hair!! When I went to purchase a new bottle, I noticed this site no longer had it listed, but found this new Brilliant version. I must say, for me, the original was way better. I have thick, wavy hair (if I go to bed with it wet it turns into curl city). My routine: I use my flat iron then apply the glossing cream. It used to make it shiny, super smooth, and keep it straight without frizzies; even withstood decent humidity. This new "improvement" does add some shine, but seems to be a lot lighter (which some may prefer). I also tried using the same amount, with no luck. Had to use more of this product than the prior. But for me it just makes my hair want to wave back up a bit and leaves lots of flyaways, and being out in the humidity killed it. I hope Fekkai isn't getting rid of the original because that is the one I would return to purchase.
Overall.......
On its own: does a decent job at softening, adds some shine, light weight, has a nice light scent.
Compared: for those with more difficult hair, the original is better.

Keeps my curls relaxed and gets rid of the frizziness that happens with our rainy weather. Can be pretty heavy on my hair if I use too much.

I like the light scent of the shampoo, conditionerand gloss. Its a light herbal scent. If using this gloss, I don't use the conditoner and vice versa. Scent is NOT overpowering like some glosses I've used. Economical, because only a pea-sized amount is required for medium length hair. If you use MORE or too much, hair gets sticky/stiff and hard to comb through ..and TOO shiny like a waxed helmet. Now that I know the how much is good for my hair length, I think this is a great gloss - and cheaper than others that do the same.

Put a small amount in palm and spread over both palms before applying it evenly over entire hair. Use more for very thick or longer hair.

Fekkai is the best I think I have ever used. Just a small amount adds shine and removes all tangles. I don't use creme rinse anymore- just this glossing creme. Not cheap, but I personally I think it is well worth every penny!

This is the only hair product I have found that controls my naturally wavy, frizzy hair here in the rainy Pacific NW! It does cost a little more, but I find myself only buying it once a year, so in the long run, it is very cost effective. Towel dry hair, then just a pea-size dab on my palm, rub it all over my hands, then turn my head down, and apply to the length of hair, not roots. Work it through gently and then style hair as usual.
It is gently, makes my hair feel soft and pliable, and is odorless.

I first tried out the sample size of Frederic Fekkai from Bath & Body Works. After the first use of the sample, I knew that I just had to buy the full size for myself! The sample lasted me about 6 uses, and I can imagine how long the 7 oz bottle will. This stuff leaves my hair smelling great, under control, and not to mention, super silky! I absolutely love this. I put on just a 'pea size' amount on my towel dried hair, blow dry it, and then straighten it. My hair gets exposed to a lot of heat, but with this product, you can barely notice my split ends. Would highly recommend this; great investment.
