I tried it b/c the reviews were so good, but I can't really figure out what it does. Doesn't hurt -- no irritation, but I can't see that it's doing anything either. With a "peel," I expect some brightness or something. I could be biased toward more acid-y peels, though.

I was able to try this peel a few times before my mom stole it :)

A little bit goes a long way. I can feel my skin tightening as the mask dries on my face. As I rinse, the mask feels thick and creamy like a conditioner. My skin feels SO soft and smooth as I pat it dry with my towel and it looks very bright at the finish! I have combination skin and it doesn't dry it out or make it oily...I'm especially excited to use this moisturizing mask in the winter.

I had received a sample of this in a previous order and tried it. I was surprised by how effective a gentle exfoliator could be and decided to purchase the full size. I put it on at night after washing my face and leave it on for up to 15 minutes. It leaves my skin soft and has improved my skin tone. It also does not make me break out, which is something other masks have done before.

May be this is a gentle peel but when I put it on it smells good and after washing off it makes the skin feel tight and smooth for that moment. Not sure whether improves the skin with long term usage. No direction on how often to use.

Very much worth the price, since it's at most a weekly treatment. I have combination skin with some acne scarring and I'm trying to improve my skin's texture and cell turnover. This leaves my skin so soft, smoother, and just glowing from within. And is smells divine! Highly recommended. Just try not to lick your face!

I was familiar with Elemis from some spa treatments I received on a cruise, and I loved everything used on my skin on the cruise, so I was happy Beauty.com carried the products!! I just received this today and used it for the first time tonight. I love it! Based on my previous experience with peels, I expected it to either sting, burn or both....this one did neither! It was very gentle and except for a barely noticeable tightness towards the end of the time you have to leave it on, I barely knew it was on. After I rinsed it off my skin felt wonderful...silky soft and supple. I am THRILLED and don't regret any penny I spent. My skin feels like a million bucks! I am a 37 year old mother of two with fine lines and a few dark spots that I developed during my last pregnancy 4 years ago that never went away....but tonight my skin feels 15 years younger. I'm anxious to see if it looks younger after continued use of this product. Heck, it looks pretty darn good right now!! I can't wait until my husband feels my cheeks!!

This is an excellent product. One application uses roughly a half teaspoon, meaning there are at least a dozen applications, probably more, in the tube. Paired with a good moisturizer, this peel will have the same result as a basic spa facial, making it an excellent value also. And it smells good!
