Comments about Elemental Herbology Purify & Soothe Cleansing Balm, 2.5 oz:

I have avoided oil-based cleansers until now. If you're like me and you've read all the positive reviews and buzz around Eve Lom's Cleanser or myriad face oils, but haven't taken the plunge for whatever reason, you need to try this.

The very first time I used this, I followed the directions and massaged the product onto my face focusing on congested areas and about 2 minutes in I felt blackheads releasing. Um, how does one even put the joy of that into writing? I'll try. This unforeseen extraction of nasty bits of course delighted me to no end and made me massage vigorously on my congested areas for probably another 5-10 minutes? It could have been longer, who knows?...I was lost in the moment.

Once I re-gained self control...I took a very warm almost hot wrung-out washcloth and wiped my face in sections and talk about an amazing reveal. I cannot emphasize enough how truly amazing my skin felt and continues to feel. I can't even remember the last time my skin felt this soft, smooth, calm and moisturized after cleansing. I've been using this now for about 2 weeks and areas of stubborn acne and the flakiness that comes from treating it have completely cleared up, I've had zero breakouts and my skin is so happy.

I've tried so many cleansers which have been decent to varying degrees but in the last year, I have been on prescription Retin-A and have struggled with finding a cleanser that will complement my treatment. Needless to say, my search is over and I'm excited to try more from this brand.
