Ok, I want to first say that I use this at night. I know you're not supposed to do this, but I use an oil-controlling foundation during the day. I feel that if I wear it under the foundation, its just going to get absorbed, therefore, my foundation won't have the capacity to absorb the sebum my face excretes, and everything would turn out to be pointless. Instead, I use this oil at night after the Hauschka Clarufying Toner and wash my face in the morning with Neutrogena's blackhead removing face scrub/wash. This combination of products has worked so well for me. My blackheads and clogged pores have cleared up considerably. My face isn't dry or flacky anymore. Oil really does work against oil!

This is combination of good-quality vegetable oils and carrot seed oil. I bought it on the recommendation that it helps clear up clogged pores, and I agree that keeping the skin soft is a good first step. I had some break-outs, though, even using it sparingly. Oil on oily areas is not only counter-intuitive, sometimes it just doesn't work. If you want to try it, I think you could save a lot of money by purchasing some carrot-seed oil (health food stores should carry it) and mixing it with jojoba or almond or apricot kernel oil. You wouldn't get the cute little bottle this comes in, but you wouldn't be out [$] dollars, either.

I have super oily skin and tried everything under the sun to clear up my constant breakouts. I got this initionally in a trail size and fell in love with how it made my skin feel and smell. And amazingly my skin cleared although I still get hormonal break outs though not as bad as before, I could final stop covering my face with foundation everyday and now only use concealer on spots during the few hormonal days of the month.

This really works! It keeps my face from becoming oily mid-day - instead I have a natural, healthy glow. It seems to have improved the overall nature of my skin, too. It goes on looking greasy, but sinks in very quickly and makes my make up (I used powder foundation) look really smooth. I have tried tons of mattifying products, but never found something that delivered what it promised - except this. I seriously love this stuff!

As other reviewers have said, it's strange to put oil on oily skin, but it really works! After taking the recommendations of my naturopath, and my Bliss facialist to heart I have toned down my oily/adult-acne skin routine. Basically I'm really really gentle with my cleansing routine and I use this in the morning. It calms redness and KEEPS THE OIL AT BAY! It's even good in hot weather. Just looking at the ingredients you know its good stuff. Neem oil is antibacterial, and Farnesol is what MD skin-care uses as an antibacterial in their all over blemish solution. Amazing for oily skin, fewer breakouts, less redness, not an oil slick by the end of the day, super natural and pure. Brilliant! Love this brand!

Wow, I love this product! I was very suspicious to put oil on my pathalogically oily and acne prone face, but my risk was rewarded! Before I was using the most expensive moisturizers (professional lines and department store brands), that are 100% oil free and have oil control action. They worked mainly by drying the outer layers of my skin, but ALWAYS at the end of the day I was shiny, and after exfoliating I noticed my pores were clogged (meaning that all the oil was really inside). This "magic oil" keeps me shine-free ALL DAY LONG! I don't break out from this, EVER, which is amazing since it's an oil. The key is to put VERY small amount and spread it on the entire face. You will feel its drying action.

I know it seems weird if you have oily skin to put oil on it but believe me, this will really help your skin! If you're like me you probably use masks, scrubs and all sorts of things to get rid of acne that dry up your skin. This makes your skin produce more oil which makes your acne worse. Personally I use this oil only at night and usually after a mask. It's very calming, makes my skin very smooth and doesn't lead to breakouts! I also use this as a stand alone moisturizer if the weather isn't too dry. Great product, you just have to trust me!
