This product does purify the skin, and leaves it feeling more smooth. It can be a bit drying, as presumably intended, so if one has dry skin I wouldn't recommend this masque. It is gritty, and inevitably gets between my teeth, and is obviously messier to use than a pre-mixed masque. I like that it has minimal additives and is effective.

I was so impressed when I used this mask for the first time, and what a compliment to my skin care regimen. It is a powder that you mix with water to create the mask. It has such a rich, earthy smell with a hint of something I can't quite put my finger on. Not overpowering, but very subtle. When I was done with the mask my face and skin felt wonderful, silky soft and clean! Even two days later my skin feels like I just did the mask. Since I've started using this product I can't stop touching my face! And it is hard to explain, but I feel it has also helped to even out my skin tone. I am not saying it will do the same for you, but I am hyper-critical of my skin now that I'm nearing 40, and I saw an improvement in my over all appearance after using this product only a couple of times.

THIS IS AN EARTHY & LUXURIOUS MASK. IT DEEP CLEANS & GENTLY EXFOLIATES. IT DOESN'T ITCH AS IT DRIES!! THIS IS ONE OF MY VERY FAVORITE MASKS. IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY!! THE JAR IS COOL TOO-I REALLY LIKE THAT U CAN BUY THE REFILL OF THE MASK WHEN YOU'RE FINISHED WITH WHAT'S IN THE JAR-AND U KEEP REFILLING THE SAME JAR! THIS GOES ALONG NICE W/ THE HAUSCHKA TONERS & MOISTURIZERS. IT'S ALL NATURAL TOO!! I'M SURE U'LL ALL LOVE IT!!

This is by far the best mask I have ever used (and I have used a lot). It clears out my pores and makes them smaller. I use this with the facial steam (by Dr H, too). I typically use it once a week unless I have a night out on the town or an important event to go to. I will use prior to putting my makeup on and my face looks so good! It even takes the red out of my cheeks! I will definately continue to use this once a week.
