Additional Background Info:
Dr. Dennis Gross observed the majority of his patients (skin cancer patients in general) were experiencing Vitamin D deficiencies because they were overtly careful about exposing themselves to UV rays and using high levels of sunscreen. In order for the body to synthesize Vitamin D, it must be converted from UVB sun exposure or through supplementation/diet. Therefore, Dr. Gross set out to develop the first & only skincare serum-oil that would provide sufficient levels of Vitamin D to skin through
Topical Application. However, in order for a product to work topically - the Vitamin D has to be active which is more difficult to manufacture. The ingredient Ergocalciferol, found in the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Active Vitamin D Serum Oil, denotes that the vitamin is active and does not require sunlight.

Comments about Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Active Vitamin D Serum-Oil, 1 fl oz:

I am 58, white, and relatively line free. Lots of vegetables, green juices, salmon, oils, alkalized water, no sugar, no grains. This stuff is the icing on the cake for my skin. I have been using it for at least 2 years now.

Comments about Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Active Vitamin D Serum-Oil, 1 fl oz:

This is a great product to follow the Face Peel Pads. As stated in another review it does absorb quickly and then can be followed by a moisturizer before bed. Product is also great for hands and feet. This is soothing and has a mild scent. Be sure to remember, less is better - more than a few drops can seem impossible to dry.

I've read elsewhere some don't feel Dr. gross' products are not worth the money. I think this comment is unfair. When one is perhaps older and needs to make up for sun damage and fleeting youthful texture, these products are a small price to pay. Or at least, my thoughts

Comments about Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Active Vitamin D Serum-Oil, 1 fl oz:

I use this serum as a night moisturizer all over my face. It is a greasy at first but absorbs pretty quickly so that by the time I go to bed, I don't have to worry about it getting all over my sheets. Excellent for dry patches that happen with cold weather. I have combo skin but this doesn't clog my pores or give me blackheads.
