Restore composure to agitated, stressed-out skin. Soothe the appearance of redness, hydrate dryness and gently rejuvenate sensitive, rosy or rosacea-prone skin. Rosacea is commonly mistakenly referred to as adult acne. It's not acne. Dermatologists understand that this multifactor condition isn't what your teen suffers from nor is teenage medication the proper way to treat it. The most common mistake for treating rosacea-resorting to ingredients used to fight teenage acne. Salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide and retinoids frequently tend to only aggravate rosacea (making skin redder and more sensitive) rather than treating the condition. That's because rosacea can include any or all of these symptoms: redness, scaling, new-onset sensitivity, inflammation, oiliness and blemishes. And since rosacea typically affects individuals between the ages of 25-65, skin rejuvenation is equally important. Yet many ingredients used in anti-aging products can irritate newly sensitive skin. These symptoms are diminished by controlling oil production, reducing inflammation, reducing cellular build-up, minimizing bacteria production on the skin and including potent, non-irritating rejuvenating antioxidants.

Comments about DERMAdoctor calm cool & CORRECTED anti-redness tranquility cream, 1.7 oz:
I have a very oily complexion with seborrheic eczema, so finding products that can effectively deal with both extremes is difficult. I initially hesitated buying this because of the price, but I'm happy that I did. I've found that it has done a great job reducing the blotchy redness, tiny itchy bumps, and scaly dry skin that is typical of seborrheic eczema. In addition my skin has remained clear of acne breakouts. I'm glad that I've finally found something that I can use daily that does not require a prescription. I do use a prescription topical steroid, but it's not good for the skin to use it too often. I'm hoping that the success of this product will ultimately reduce the need for the topical steroid. My complexion hasn't looked or felt this good in a long time.

Comments about DERMAdoctor calm cool & CORRECTED anti-redness tranquility cream, 1.7 oz:
I have adult acne and my dermatologist prescribed Retin A. If you have used Retin A then you know how dry your skin will be. I began using this product to counter act that dryness and it has been amazing. My skin was completely transformed. I have had so many issues because of how sensitive my skin that although I am a budget shopper this product is well worth the money.

Comments about DERMAdoctor calm cool & CORRECTED anti-redness tranquility cream, 1.7 oz:
I adore this product. I have redness is my face for a variety of reasons and this product gets rid of it all. In addition it keeps my acne at a minimum while still being very moisturizing. It's my daily moisturizer and goes on before sunscreen.
Because it's a bit pricey, I'll admit once in awhile I'll try other products; they all fail miserable and I kick myself for not putting that $$ towards this product.
Try and sample it first though. I first got the product b/c my sister bought it and it didn't work for her. She couldn't bear tossing it out and giving it to anyone but family, so I tried it. Within days my skin improved and it's been there ever since.

This cream soothes irritation and dryness immediately. It feels cooling, but doesn't sting at all. It leaves my skin feeling silky and comfortable all day long. Great under makeup, and works as a night cream, too.
