Body Guard Exquisitely Light SPF 30 for Face and Body provides excellent, reliable UV protection, plus it's incredibly light and comfortable, and it absorbs quickly. It sets with a matte finish, and it's loaded with antioxidants, including Green Tea, and anti-irritants. It's a brilliant formulation, and there's just nothing else like it on the market. As a Mom of 3, and a wife of a man who can't stand any kind of lotion, etc. on his face (yet turns the color of a lobster after an hour in the sun), I spend ridiculous amounts on money on products that are safe, trustworthy, and will actually be used by my family. My kids and I tan easily, and well, so I have a hard time pushing sunscreen. Everybody likes Body Guard! It doesn't irritate my 16 year old's acne (strangely, it seems to help it), and my husband, and my 11 year old son say they don't feel it on their skin. I've used it on my three year old daughter as well, and she didn't get a touch of color after being in and out of the pool for a couple of hours. (Of course, all sunscreen needs to be reapplied regularly if you're outside and/or swimming). I wasn't sure I could get the boys to use a product decorated with a cartoon of the Dermadoctor in a bathing suit, (because it might look too girly), however, everybody gets a kick out of it; especially my daughter, who is delighted to find the Dermadoctor in all her different guises on the boxes and containers of all the line's products. I occasionally use Body Guard on my face, and it's excellent, (but I prefer the Dermadoctor Aint Misbehavin spf30 PA+++ for my face because it does double-duty as a skin treatment and astringent, and it has the SPF 30 (UVB) and PA+++ (UVA) rating). Overall Body Guard is an outstanding sunscreen that runs circles around anything else my family has used.

Today I'm incredibly disappointed with this product. I had been wearing it for everyday use on my face, neck and chest and liked that it is not greasy or chalky. BUT yesterday I wore it at the beach...and I'm FRIED. I put it on generously, waited 20 minutes, and then sat on the beach under an umbrella for several hours. My face, neck, chest and upper arms are so sunburned I'm in pain, as if I had no sun protection on at all. The rest of my body had Coppertone Sport on it and I'm not burned anywhere else even the slightest bit. I'm upset because I cannot go out in the sun today, and probably will not be able to tomorrow either. And, I only have a few days of beach vacation. I live in Florida, and I am a seasoned sunblock wearer, and I have NEVER gotten this burned before with any type of sunscreen.
I really wanted to love this product because it feels so good on. Wear in the intense sun at your own risk!!!!!!!!

I have my mother's Irish skin, so I need real protection. This product does a great job without causing that "icky" feeling you get from some sunscreens. This is y second summer of using it, and I love it.

After trying every sunscreen out there, this is the one I will always stick with. I use other brands for an under make-up moisturizer/sunscreen, but this is the go-to one for going outdoors and knowing that it will last all day without getting greasy or shiny at all! It simply disappears into my skin and I hardly even know it's on. It also doesn't smell or burn my eyes. I love, love, love this stuff for heading outdoors & not having to worry about my sunscreen!

This sunscreen really does what it says. It is light but effective in protecting your face from the sun. I have oily skin and it doesn't cause breakouts or make my skin greasy or shiny. It is now the only sunscreen I use on my face. Love it!

I have very oily/combination skin and have always been reluctant to use sunscreen daily although I know I need to. I very hesitantly tried this product and was VERY pleasantly surprised! I now use it as my morning moisturizer! Does not break me out, on the contrary I believe it's helped clear up my skin. Also helps control my facial oil, and it goes on real light and absorbs quickly.

WOW. - I have very oily skin, this is the only suncreen I could put on my face for daily use! I wanted to start using products with Glycolic Acid, with which sunscreen is highly recomended - which brought me to search for a face sunscreen that would work with my very oily skin (not an easy task).
No white film or residue, not greasy at all, actually leaves a Matte finish!! I'm really impressed.
