Naked - Clean Bare Beige Deborah Lippmann introduces two new shades for spring - Glitter in the Air, a sheer sky blue confetti, and Naked, a clean, bare beige. Fan favorites at New York Fashion Week (Glitter in the Air was used at prestigious Badgley Mischka, while Naked was applied at four runway shows), her latest colors are already setting the trend for spring 2011. The inspiration for Glitter in the Air was part customer request and part Pink's magical performance at the Grammy Awards, floating through the air, wrapped in a sheer body suit with sparkles. Deborah wanted to capture that ethereal moment in a bottle. Her interpretation: a sheer sky blue with flecks of salmon pink and blue glitter. |

i must be doing something wrong or gaga didnt use her hands! the only way 2 get her color is 4+ coats, and when u add more then 2 it stays sticky (im trying it again on 1 nail as i write)
maybe if u use a really think coat u can get the color she has/thats in the bottle, but (just added a think coat 2 another nail)
1 coat is uneven (maybe the no chemicals in it?) sheer in streaks and a hint of color (leaves lines)
ive been after this color since the vanity fair cover, so im kinda bummed and sad!!!
if u were 2 paint your nails w/this b4 u go out, def need alot of time!!
(so, im back and 4th and its been 20mins, most of the nail looks ok, the rest is........its just not good :(

Comments about Deborah Lippmann Nail Color, Naked, .5 fl oz:
I have been using Lippmann polishes for over 10 years now and I must say that her formulas seem to be a little thicker than they were years ago. I found I have to alter how I apply this polish as compared to other brands, it does go on thicker. I only apply one coat to clean nails (I use Lippmann Ridge Filler Base Coat and Addicted to Speed Top Coat and when I use those with this it drags the color and creates bubbles like the other reviewer stated). One coat clean sheer coverage. Perfect for day to day when you want a little shine without high impact color). I am also fair skinned and think it looks fab with my skin tone.

Comments about Deborah Lippmann Nail Color, Naked, .5 fl oz:
This color is very chic. I have pale skin and it is the perfect "mannequin hands" color on me (but in a good way). It has a nice, shiny finish but doesn't last as long as my other favorite 3-free brand (zoya). But I don't think zoya has a similar color. I use 2 coats if I want a sheer look and 3 if I want opaque. Color isn't streaky but does require multiple coats for good coverage. I used it with Deborah Lippmann basecoat but my Deborah Lippmann top coat is really bubbly so I used a zoya topcoat. Maybe that's why it chipped, but I've done that with other 3 free polishes with no problem.
