Glitter In The Air
Glitter In The Air - Sky Blue Confetti Deborah Lippmann introduces two new shades for spring - Glitter in the Air, a sheer sky blue confetti, and Naked, a clean, bare beige. Fan favorites at New York Fashion Week (Glitter in the air was used at prestigious Badgley Mischka, while Naked was applied at four runway shows), her latest colors are already setting the trend for spring 2011. The inspiration for Glitter in the Air was part customer request and part Pink's magical performance at the Grammy Awards, floating through the air, wrapped in a sheer body suit with sparkles. Deborah wanted to capture that ethereal moment in a bottle. Her interpretation: a sheer sky blue with flecks of salmon pink and blue glitter. |

Comments about Deborah Lippmann Nail Color, Glitter In The Air, .5 fl oz:
Love this! The first time i purchased a DL color I was happy with the product but sore never to pay the price for her colors again... until I saw this and had to have it. Glad I picked it! It's so unusual, light, ethereal, feminine... happy! LOVE it, REALLY! I layered it over Essie's Ballet Slipper and with a few layerable coats my manicure looks fantastic. I absolutely recommend this. It's sparkly but not young-- and I love that.

OH, Glitter In The Air is SO pretty! I squawked and squawked about the price, but [...] so I got it. I SWEAR to you- it is worth every penny, even pre-discount!It is quite sheer, but you can build the coverage, and it dries reasonably quickly, so it doesn't take forever. If you're picky about glitter dispersal, you will most likely need to position the glitter with the brush, as it isn't super dense. I have not tried it layered over another polish yet, but that's next. FUN!The color is like a breath of fresh air- the most beautiful pale milky blue jelly with rosy pink and baby blue (and silver?) glitter (large hexagonal and small square) - it kind of reminds me of a blingy robin's egg. PERFECT shade for Easter, if you celebrate that holiday.I sorely needed a whiff of Spring because the weather certainly wasn't cooperating, and this TOTALLY rocked my world, though I am NOT a pastel lover in the least. It's gorgeous. Wear time was pretty good- especially considering I had on 5 coats- it peeled up off of the free edge of my nail on day 3. (which may have been due to my base and/or top coat, or my really awful nails...)In short, LOVE it! If you're wavering, GET IT!!!

This is a beautiful spring color - note that it is a very sheer light blue - I layered it over OPI's "Whats with the Cattitude" (light pastel blue), and it looks gorgeous!
