rose gold (metallic)

Deborah's obsession with owning a rose gold watch manifested itself into a nail polish. A stunning blused metallic, it accessorizes the nails with subdued opulence.

Terrible QC

Comments about Deborah Lippmann Nail Color, Glamorous Life, .5 Fl Oz:

I ordered this and was really excited to buy a beautiful rose-gold polish, especially since I've always loved Deborah Lippmann in the past for both application quality and gorgeous hues. What I received was a muddy yellow-gold polish - not a hint of rose or copper. I assumed it was a fluke QC issue and contacted customer service where I was quickly dispatched a new polish. The second one had the exact same issue. So, I don't know if I just had colossally terrible luck, or the QC for this hue is all-around awful, or it's just not really rose gold, but I can't recommend this color.

Comments about Deborah Lippmann Nail Color, Glamorous Life, .5 Fl Oz:

I saw "rose gold Rolex" and fell in love with the pictures. Unfortunately, the color is a little more mauvey than pinky in my opinion; and after looking at my nails for about a day, I realize that the color looks more like what my grandmother used to wear. The jury is still out on whether I think that is a good or bad thing. It does compliment my skin tone well, and is subdued and professional looking. The formula isn't as great as some of DL's other polishes; I found it to be rather streaky for her metallic as compared to Brick House and Purple Rain. Overall, I'm not taking it off yet, but it's far from a color I'll be wearing often.
