Cleanse skin thoroughly before applying medication. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily. Because too much drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two to three times daily if needed, or as directed by a physician. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce frequency of application to once a day or every other day. If going outside, use a sunscreen. Allow benzoyl peroxide product to dry, then follow the directions in the sunscreen labeling. If irritation or sensitivity develops, discontinue use of both products and consult a physician. Sensitivity Test for a New User: Apply product sparingly to one or two small areas during the first 3 days. If no discomfort occurs, follow the directions stated above. |

I'm a 26 year old female who has battled acne for a very long time, I've gone thru it all, every product on the shelves, accutane, antibiotics, special birth control, you name it...I'm always on the hunt for the 'perfect' product, and I'm very excited to have found this DDF acne gel. It works quickly, and I found the price reasonable compared to other options, plus the amount of product you receive will last a good amount of time. I've used it on the adult acne hormonal breakouts at the corners of my mouth and on my chin, and I also use it at first signs of a blackhead on my cheeks. It's not a miracle product, I still get some mild acne, but combines with the other products I've started using it's really made a huge difference. I don't feel disgusted when I look in the mirror these days, and my skin is becoming smoother by the day.
P.S. I also use DDF sulfur mask, which is really amazing, I cleanse with an Olay Salicylic Acid cleanser at night, Aveeno brightening wash in the morning, and moisturize day & night with Alba oil free green tea moisturizer.

I am 23 and in the last year have been dealing with some nasty deep rooted acne. I have sensitive skin and decided to try this because of all the good reviews. It did not work for me, it actually made my acne worse. It did not dry out my skin but seemed to make a breeding ground for zits.

I'm 29 and have struggled with adult acne forever. Before I started having kids, I was on BenzaClin (after trying accutane, retinA, etc) and it was the only thing that cleared my skin without trashing it in other ways. I haven't been back on that medication in years, and after having my son a year ago my face has been breaking out more and more. I got this product 4 days ago and have used it twice a day since and my skin is already clearing up. I know it will take a couple weeks before it's completely clear, but so far this is an excellent product. I use it with the DDF Moisturizing Dew and it's amazing also.

I was using prescription medication to treat acne on my back. When I had to switch to a lousy insurance, I looked for something cheaper than the $200 per tube prescription. This stuff has worked just as well. I apply it to my back at night, wear a white t-shirt to bed (yes, it bleaches fabric), and shower in the morning. It works great.

This stuff is awesome. It works SO fast. Even on my stubborn cystic acne - if I put it on right when I feel it, it goes away! Like magic! My face is 99.89% clear as I'm typing this review. I haven't had a clear face since I was on Accutane (5 years ago). I use Exuviance moisturizing antibacterial facial cleanser, this treatment gel at night and sometimes in the morning as needed, and Eminence thermal spring whip moisturizer every morning and night. I think I've found a good combo - finally!!!

I have very sensitive skin and my own sweat causes me to break out in my shoulders in the summer time. I have tried every product under the sun and finally found something that works. This is not harsh like other benzoyl peroxide products and I haven't noticed it bleaching my clothes or towels. It's a bit expensive, but a little bit goes a long way.

I use this product every day for inflammatory acne, and I will not let myself run out. It's gentle yet effective on my thin, pale, sensitive, acne-prone skin. At the first tingling of a pimple, or for a particularly large one, apply three times a day for a day or two, and it's gone.

I was having so many problems with my skin as an adult and I tried Proactiv and all of the other major players. This brand has been the one that works the best and the quickest for me. I use several of their products and not of them has caused irration to my sensitive skin which was a major concern for me.
