I have recently/slowly been replacing my old skin care regime with items from the Darphin line. Hand care, body care, eye care, facial wash and now this lovely facial oil. I am 54 and recently had Fraxel CO2 laser treatment to my face/neck making the skin ultra-sensitive, red and broken out post-recovery. The products prescribed contained petrolatum and mineral oil which exacerbated the sensitivity and breakouts. I purchased this oil a year ago to help with fine lines and loved it. Used sparingly and kept for periods of excessive dryness, my luxury bottle of 8-flower oil has been put into daily service soothing and calming irritated face and neck skin. Why didn't I use it daily before? The price. The ingredients are natural and soothing; no mineral or petroleum products. The smell is heavenly and has become my signature fragrance. The bottle is small so I carry it with me. Treat yourself. You won't regret it.

My first introduction to this product was through a sample promotion and when I logged on to read about how to properly apply, I was shocked by the cost and swore that I would never pay full price. But then I tried it and was truly impressed. Yes, the smell is amazing - very soothing and refreshing. It glides on the skin and is absorbed almost instantly. I put it on under my daily moisturizer and, as a result, need to use far less of that product (La Mer). After the sample ran out, I switched to using another sample serum that I had received, but it just wasn't the same. My skin didn't feel as smooth, nor look as bright and I truly missed the smell. So here I am, getting ready to pay full price...and looking forward to using it again!

I got samples of this and I love it! The smell is addicting. I can inhale it forever. I also have dry skin. I mean DRY skin in the winter. I feel like my face will crack. But I use this morning and night and not only does it uplift the spirits but it makes my skin feel so soft and hydrated. However, and this is a big BUT, it is so darn expensive. I mean, if it were for one ounce I could swallow hard and take out my credit card. But, it's only for half an ounce. These French must think we're all Ivanka Trump here.
