I know it is pricy, but it is worth it. I am a gardener but this cream is good for anybody. I love the smell but that will depend on the user. I have many creams, budget and brand name. This is one of the best. The pump facilitates dispensing the cream too for ease of use. I have psoriasis and it is gentle and not irritating.

The Recovery only has to be used occasionally, when hands feel rough, after gardening, etc., once a week to once every few weeks. This is the 8th wonder of the world! It is WELL worth the slightly elevated price tag. Ever since receiving a tube of "product testing" Gardeners from Denver (I live in Pittsburgh) as a gift years ago, I have been hooked. I have eczema on my hands and had it on my legs. The itching and patches were AWFUL! Especially during the winter. Nothing helped. I started to use this on my hands and it cleared up most of my cracking and patches. I tried it on my legs. My legs are now eczema FREE! No, this is not a gimmick. I am a product-trying junkie and this is my ONLY staple product.
I recommend this to everyone, especially people who are severely allergic. I can barely wear certain perfumes. I even tried the famous "Creme LaMer" from Saks and had a reaction. However, Gardeners hasn't the slightest problem with my sensitive skin. I am a teacher and have told students I see suffering to pick this up. I can't even tell anyone enough how this has changed my life. I carry a tube everywhere I go.
