Comments about Colorescience Sunforgettable SPF 30 Eyescreen, 1 ea:

I bought this on the basis of a review here and at another site that rated this product highly as a sunscreen for use in the eye area. While it doesn't sting at all, it doesn't go on smoothly. No matter how I applied it--with moisturizer, without, with a base underneath--it immediately made little flakes. Around the eye area, they looked like eyelash dandruff...yuck. I had to rub the eyes to get it to smooth out, which sort of negates the pluses of a "sensitive skin" product.

The applicator is also poorly designed. It looks like a QTip on a spring that pushes the spongy end into the tube. After about a week the spongy end was starting to come off. After two weeks it came off completely into the tube, so I had to fish it out of the tube with tweezers and ended up wasting a lot of product. In the end, it turned out to be too much of a hassle and I tossed it.

This product is way too pricy (for a tiny amount, too) for this to happen.

Comments about Colorescience Sunforgettable SPF 30 Eyescreen, 1 ea:

This is probably best for people with really fair skin (like me) because it is a really light iridescent pinkish color. Liquid sunscreen gets in my eyes and ingredients in most sunscreens cause my eyelid skin to itch and burn. This does not. Works so well I got a kind of 'goggles' burn where I used a different sunscreen on the rest of my face. This is expensive but a little goes a long way and if you are very burnable and/or obsessed with preventing UV-induced skin damage around your eyes I highly recommend this.
