I am a big believer in the French sunblocks (La Roche-Posay and Vichy). I do still use them on my face for sweatier and sunnier days and they are my go to for my body.
But if you don't want a shinny face, especially if you have oily, combination skin. Give this one a try - it particularly sits well on top of the other CellCeuticals products, similarly, it is very light in texture, non-greasy, gentle and suitable for my sensitive and acne-prone skin. Unlike the French ones, It does not feel pasty, oily or have a strong smell, does not streak white or roll off when rubbed if applied thick.
In all, it just doesn't resemble the physical properties of typical sunscreen cream/lotions! The very good bonus is it goes on smoothly and appears like a thin clear skin primer that adds an even, smoothed glow to the complexion. I've found myself starting to skin foundation/power and only use this as my last layer (I've been on the whole line of CellCeuticals for half a year now). This is very friendly to foundation/powder that is applied on top.
When I have my monthly acnes, I instead use the tinted PhotoDefense Color Radiance, it has a slightly thicker texture (not as dry or greasy as tubed foundation) and noticeably evens out the redness, with a few dabs of Murad acne concealer on the blemishes, I would be looking natural and pretty to go out for the day.
