Zeste de Vigne, a radiant, generous and intensely optimistic fresh fragrance, recall the sun at its zenith bathing the citrus trees of the Smith Haut Lafitte vineyard's orangery with its dazzling sparkles of light.
Zeste de Vigne Caudalie Fresh Fragrance collection Express the feeling of a stroll through the vines, at dawn, noon and dusk. Every hour of a summer's day at the Smith Haut Lafitte vineyard, daylights and colors change, shadows stretch or dwindle, a subtle warmth rises or falls. Nature delicately perfumes the air. To share the charming experience of the vines, Mathilde Thomas, founder of Caudalie, created a collection of light fresh fragrances inspired by the vineyard, with three master perfumers (Anne Flipo, Francis Kurkdjian and Jacques Cavalier).
Benedicte de Lescure, a young emerging designer, created three bottles and boxes etched with modern designs inspired by the grape vine.
Key notes: Sweet lemon - Petit Grain - Bergamot
In typical French tradition, the orangery is a "winter garden" where citrus trees grow. At Smith Haut Lafitte, the rich scents of the orangery oak wood barrels meld with citrus trees.
The wrinkled tree leaves diffuse the perfectly characteristic fragrance of their fruits. Lemon, sweet orange, bitter orange and vivid mandarin.
To soften this tangy effervescence of the top notes and body of the fragrance, Francis Kurkdjian choose a java patchouli and touches of moss to provide balance and depth to the scent.
