This has a mildly licorice smell, but I didn't mind (I hate licorice!). I really like the consistency of this - it's glossy-ish in the tube and that makes it go on light. Not glossy like lip gloss, but the consistency is softer and less waxy than most lip stuff - more natural feeling. A good purchase.

The consistency is ...
The consistency is definitely smooth, not too oily but really does a great job of being moisturizing. The only downside for me is that I don't like the smell of it.

Comments about Caswell-Massey Natural Therapy Lip Balm, .16 oz:
My lips are always dry. Over the years I've used just about every product I could get my hands on. This is my favorite brand.
It goes on very smoothly. It's not sticky or gummy. It glides right over your lips no matter how chapped.
It lasts a decent amount of time without having to be reapplied.
I highly recommend it!

Comments about Caswell-Massey Natural Therapy Lip Balm, .16 oz:
[...]It is a lighter version of Chapstick and Blistex Lip Tone. It has no SPF, which Lip Tone does, but it has softened a chronic area of dryness on my bottom lip which Blistex did not. It gives a nice low-key sheen to lips. I plan to buy it again to include in little cosmetic gift bags for friends.

Comments about Caswell-Massey Natural Therapy Lip Balm, .16 oz:
I tried this on a whim to get my Shopping Bag total above $49 (lol), and I am so glad I did! This applies easily, sinks in, has no taste or smell whatsoever, and best of all, it stays on without feeling sticky or gooey. I have purchased several more so that I never have to be without this great lip balm, and I have recommended it to my friends. My lips are dry despite drinking several liters of water easily and I have very sensitive skin (lips included), so it is great to have a natural, effective, and reliable lip balm.
