It must be personal preference, I am very sensitive to fragrance and I really like this because it's not too strong and makes my hair smell great but doesn't linger. I have very frizzy hair and if I use this and the Black Vanilla leave in smoothie conditioner it really helps keep the frizzies down.
The bottles are terrible to use and I really wish Carols Daughter would change their bottle for the chocolate and Minoi.

This stuff is awful! I am a big fan of Carol's Daughter products. However, this line (Chocolat) is horrid. The smell is so overwhelmingly awful, that I had to throw the entire bottle (which is expensive!) away. I could not even rinse it down the drain, because the fumes had me gagging. I just bundled it in a plastic bag and sent it to the landfill. Do not buy.
I do recommend other Carol's Daughter products just not this particular one.
I have thick, curly, very dry hair.
