I was first introduced to this brand when working as a make up and skin-care consultant that sold a variety of Prestige Lines.
A gentleman would often come in grab a couple of the compacts and go...it turned out he worked for one of the local news stations and found it easy to apply, blendable, provided full coverage and was natural looking...even on camera. SO, if you want a natural looking, flawless complexion CARGO HIGH DEF. will do it.
I have sensitive, combination skin that freaks out, breaks out and stresses out very easily.
So, I've become quite picky with what I put on my face. In the summers, I don;t wear much make-up but all the natural sun screen I don't leave home without can leave me a little shiny. That's where Cargo's Blue-Ray Pressed Powder comes in!
What I love: It doesn't clog my pores. It has build-able wear, over foundation...it creates a beautifully flawless look. Photographs well...it is High Definition, after all. Especially when used with the Magic Brush (which is probably hands down one of the BEST BRUSHES EVER!) If your low-maintenance, it's perfect because you just need a little and you have a soft, natural-looking, more even-complexion. #20 is what I wear in the winter and #30 for summer and both match closely to my warmish neutral skin tone. I'm a budget and a brand shopper. I go for quality but don't want to fork over a ton of cash...so the price is okay considering, by the time I'm ready for a new one (for sanitation) it's almost out. (3-4 months)

So, it's pretty pocket friendly, easy to apply. I do suggest a good brush, especially CARGO'S!

I initially looked at this product while in the market for a finishing powder to use over other foundation. It actually works better on its own. The product goes on smoothly and leaves my skin looking pretty flawless. The color I ordered, 20 medium, is right on for my olive complexion. I use the Cargo Magic Brush to apply, which I already owned and had been using for blush. The brush works well (perhaps that's another review!). I also have sensitive skin, and have had no problems with irritation or breakouts. The only downside to the product is that it will not control shine for an entire day, and the warmer the weather, the more frequently I need touchups. Apart from that, I am quite happy with my purchase.

This powder is absolutely amazing. I use it over my Smashbox liquid foundation and the finish is fantastic. It looks very natural, yet airbrushed. Perfection. It is lightweight so I really don't feel like I am even wearing powder. The color, 20, matches my fair/light complexion with yellow undertones extremely well . This powder is quite yellow, so if you tend to have pink undertones in your skin you may be better off with a different shade. It may work fine for people with some pink in their skin since it does blend in so nicely. I highly recommend this product. Also, this product has yet to break out my sensitive, acne prone skin.

This powder is unique in that the look I see in the morning while applying my makeup at the vanity is exactly what I will see in all other lighting throughout the day. It really is amazing. From florescent lighting to overcast skies or the sunniest of days, the result is consistent! Finally! Will purchase again. Have recommended to friends, many have already purchased after seeing my results. I use in conjunction with the blu ray primer.

This product has amazing potential, but I have very fair skin with pink undertones, so this powder was way too yellow for me. I'll most likely end up giving it away to a friend. it would work great for people with warm undertones rather than cool ones because it gives great coverage

This is a great product for me - I get breakouts and I find that this has enough pigment in it to help cover them up (with concealer etc as well). It looks a bit heavy when you first put it on - but after about 30-45 minutes it starts to settle on my skin and looks really good. The only problem I have with this product is it only comes in one colour. I have super pale skin (it takes a lot of sun screen to stay this shade), it is too dark for me - I end up having to put bronzer on my neck to match my skin up. So unless you have similar skin colouring to the product already, you will end up having to do a bit of colour matching.

Wonderful soft looking powder. If you want an airbrushed finish use with a brush but if you want more coverage and a heavier application use a sponge. Doesn't settle in lines and wrinkles and gives you a nice soft natural finish. It does tend to have a yellow base which works perfectly for me. One of the best powders I have tried and I have tried quite a few.
