This stuff seems expensive at first blush, but one bottle lasts 4-5 months because you only need a dime size amount to apply post-shave.
It is alcohol free so no drying out of your face, but it works as well as astringent/alcohol based after shaves. I can't live w/o this so when drugstore has it in stock I get 2 at a time and am set for a year. The smell is subtle and fresh, and I have had 20 plus people ask me what I was wearing; they can't believe it's aftershave.

This is the only product my husband uses after shaving as alcohol stings too much on his sensitive face. I, however, adore the fragrance. I've used Obsession as a scent for years and started my husband on Obsession for Men shortly after we started dating. The scent for both are rather heavy but not overpowering, very nice especially in the colder months.
